With no Robinson or Anthony playing I will trade him for Hartlett and pocket some $.

So nobody can see a problem with skippy to hartlett (mid)?

If you can get Franklin this week... get him. You won't regret it. His following matches are (not in order): Fremantle, Carlton, Melbourne, West Coast and Essendon.

All sides which leak big scores and can't really handle the guns like Buddy. I'd expect him to score some very, very large scores.

I'm going to take a risk that he won't reach his BE of 150 and get him cheaper. I watched West Coast pretty closely last week and I can't see Franklin kicking a big score but the other teams I can so I'll be all over him like white on rice next week.

mids: Judd, selwood, kerr, S.burgoyne, rich, haselby (josef, anthony)

rucks: Hille(N), mckintosh (spencer, browne)

forwards: higgens, krakouer, pavlich, delidio, didak, skipworth, roughead (brown, garlett)

Im not going to trade burgoyne because he is an individual pick that could make up some points later in the season, however what to do with skipworth is the real question. With 18 trades and 63,700 left over there is basically no one i can get. Should i downgrade malceski so i can get a premium like boomer? Or should i hold off a week and wait for some cash cows to rise and some premiums to fall?

If you're going to get Ablett in the next few weeks and have the cash, I don't see any point in waiting. After his 197 last week it's unlikely his price is going to come down dramatically any time soon. Plus you can experience that warm fuzzy feeling of having him as skipper just a little bit sooner...

Well the selection gods have forced my hand and I will do my first trade this week: Leuenberger -> Meesen.

Purely a cash grab, although I'll be happy with 50-60 each week to accompany Mr Cox's 110-120.

Will leave me with $240K to play with in a week or two when Buddy, Riewoldt, Hodge and co have bottomed out

Ruck trade is a waste.

I agree, You didnt need the Ruck trade to fund getting krakouer in, so to get full value of the ruck trade you need to trade again so thats 2 trades that might make you $180,000 max.

Made my first trade to avoid a donut in the forwards (Hentschell to Warren).

Gave me enough cash to trade Skippy to Gia (just) but decided to wait a week with Gia's high breakeven and recent low scores ... just hope Warren can give me a solid 60 or so this week.

Ranking 1870 with 19 trades left.
