Matt Dougie do you think we should take a couple of players out the back of the Whitten Oval and shoot them, to encourage the others?

I’ve heard that a little bit of lead behind the ear is a great motivator. Or in the kneecap, IRA style.

If only Bev had kneecapped Stringer instead of trading him . That would have stiffened the boys up.

Outs - Dale (shot) , Dickson (injured) Webb (threatened with shooting)

In - Young, Williams and Roughead or something to be a full back while Daniel goes in the ruck.

If this doesn’t work we just ship all the players to work on a sugar plantation & start again.

In all seriousness we were horrible tacklers and one way runners v Freo. Dale has to go.

Hell yes !!!!!

And I’d suggest the first two rhyme with Ditch Duneychurch and Din Dong

In- Hunter, Williams, Young.
Out- Dickson, Dale, Richards.
B. Wood, Cordy, Naughton.
HB. JJ, Young, Williams.
C. Hunter, Wallis, Daniel.
HF. Suckling, Bontempelli, Honeychurch.
F. Dahlhaus, Boyd, Gowers.
Foll. English, Macrae, McLean.
Int. Dunkley, Lipinski, Webb, Jong.
Dale needs a spell, Richards done well but can have a rest and use his AFL experience and confidence in VFL. Webb, Dunkley need big improvement on last week but would give another chance. Young deserves a chance this year. Suckling needs to lift his kicking efficiency, very frustrating.

Wouldn't make bulk changes. Last night was typical of a young side travelling to Perth.

If the Beveridge doubters want to speculate on his future at least give him this week to see his plans and structures for our side against a similarly young side.
good to hear common sense for a change

out Webb; Richards; dicko and dale.
in: hunter; crozier; young and Trengove or Roughead

Lukas Webb was our twelfth ranked player on the weekend, only five ranking
points behind the great Marcus Bontempelli who was ranked eleventh yet
still got ching votes. To quote a line from the classic gang movie the
wanderers, "Leave the kid alone".

No VFL this week so trying to find form will have to wait till May 5th when Footscray play Richmond juggernaut at VUWO.
Anyone dropped will be sitting in the stands.

Bevo also mentioned Hunter and Williams straight back in, Crozier is available but will settle on team this arvo. Gut feel is all three in.

If we lose against Carlton on Friday night this season is as good as over. We'll be 1-0-5 and we simply don't have the complete list to make a resurgence that Sydney did last year after starting with 6 losses on the trot.

Not that I necessarily want this, but I think Bevo will use the week off in the VFL to rest the kids. It's a long season.

Out: Richards, English, Naughton, Dickson
In: Williams, Roughead, Trengove/Young, Hunter

Yeah if we get donked by Carlton I'll be ready to concede we might be in a bit of a crisis.

Wood Cordy Williams
Suckling Naughton Crozier
McLean Wallis Hunter
Dahlhaus Dunkley JJ
Gowers Boyd Dale

English, Bont, Macrae

Richards, Jong, Honey, Daniel

I'd be pretty pleased with something like this, would love to see Dale and JJ predominantly playing in the forward 50.

If we learn from last week and last year .We dont take inexperience interstate.Playing them at home on a Friday night makes sense to me.
Let Richards play
Let Naughton play
Let English play
Injuired players that have proven nothing at their new clubs.Should be made to earn it.
Out Dickle Duckling
In Hunter

How close are any of NMM, Porter and Greene to making debuts? Obviously Lynch is the other but he is injured.

good to hear common sense for a change

Interesting. Young team off a six day break in Perth on a ground that is brutally hard and shitty performances all round. Plus a break in VFL to freshen up the youngsters.

Stars aligned for a fair few changes IMO.

Sorry with our percentage I think it’s already over even if we do a lazarus(which isn’t happening)
