Can't decide who to bring in out of:

Fyfe - probably the safest option but the most expensive with Sloane would leave me no money
N.Jones - good price and been scoring big but can he keep it up, plays for stinky Dees which makes it harder
Sloane - same as Fyfe above, probably avoids tags more though with Danger
Ward - been scoring massive this year but same as Jones, can he keep it up
Griffen - already have Liberatore and not sure whether he's fully back into it yet
Swan - round 8 bye, will the consistency be there? Real cheap though along with Griffen

Thoughts?

Do you think any of these players will be top 10 midfielders at the end of the year? I'd put a line through Jones, Sloane and Ward. Swan has the best history, he's usually a slow starter. Griffen starting to kick into gear, I would get Swan if he fits your bye structure.

I think Ellis is worth a keep if he plays this week. Round 9 bye which is good for most team structures, the 2 will be out of his 3 games average by then and the run over the next few is reasonably good for WCE (Carlton at Etihad, Fremantle, GWS).

Too many other problems.

As for me, I think I have to concede I missed the boat on Fasolo and Crouch (stupid byes) so will possibly look to Robertson if anything, likely for Tyson, and then try and save as many trades as possible for the bye weeks, where I can go full tilt in an attempt to get my team up to 18 or 19 premos by then in some way shape or form.

Guys who could be cut

Brodie Martin (might as well hold, he is B8 and possibly going to get games later)
Dale Thomas (Round 9 bye, might as well hold at this point barring injury)
Tyson (could be goneski)
Ambrose (worst.... trade..... ever.....)
L. Taylor (might as well hold for flexibility, won't make a heap of cash but w/e, JS is ok I guess.

Dunston - Crouch
or
Dunston - Robertson

Crouch has already had a significant price rise but will Robertson score just as high?

Hopefully Ellis misses this week, let him bake on the low score before turfing him next week.

JKH > Lloyd
Dunstan > Robertson

War chest fully stocked at $485k, time for some big trades next week.
Im keeping both Caddy and Ellis with pretty much the same amount $ in the war chest

Tyson - Llyod
Dunston - Crouch or Robertson missed out on Crouch last week.

Hopefully Thomas from Richmond gets a couple more games. Hoping to upgrade Thomas and Caddy next week and think i will hold onto Ellis.
Ellis will loose value in the short term but i feel he will get back on track

Hmmm, Dunstan -> Robertson is a goer. The question is do I downgrade Ellis or Langdon for Cutler? I get an extra 36k for Ellis but Langdon is a round 8 bye player and I already have 12 of them. So looks like I'll trade Langdon, dammit.

David Mundy has caught my eye, hopefully I can bring him and Griff in next week :p

I was thinking that. Any recommendations for a replacement?
Not really sorry, other than the Patrick Cripps/Nick Robertson or DPP swap for Tom Cutler/Sam Lloyd trades.
With Judd out for another 4 weeks Cripps should continue to get games, but I think Robertson has shown he can play very well and get a few games in that Lions side. Whereas I'm not 100% sure on Port but Gray is less likely to get as many full games as the other 2?

Ellis > Robertson
Dunstan/Tyson > Lloyd (VIA Taylor DPP)

I feel so dirty having 4 Brisbane players in my midfield (Rockliff, Robertson, Aish and Taylor) yuk.
Thoughts on who goes first, Dunstan or Tyson? both relatively high B/E's. or even if I go Dunstan AND Tyson to Lloyd and Robertson if Ellis is out? Won't lose any $$

Leaves me 600k+ for next week to upgrade JKH > Cloke & Dunstan/Tyson > Griffen

Thoughts?

Jesus. Dunstan's BE is 87. Out he goes.

Does anyone want any others? I have the Gold trial bullshit.

Would I be an idiot to bring in Mumford for Pyke this week? Supposed to play..

I went X Ellis to Lloyd.

I'm ready to upgrade one of Dunstan or Tyson, but I can't decide who.

Tyson's BE is 99 while Dunstan's is 88.
Tyson opened with three scores of 90+, but has gotten two 50's since.
Dunstan opened with two 100+ (including a near 150), but also has three scores of 50-65.

Dunstan plays Brisbane so it could be a win with a good performance, Tyson is playing Sydney which he could put a good performance in but higher chance of losing and not getting much ball.

I could afford Selwood with either but with his BE at 180 I'm tempted to wait a week and trade out the second of Tyson/Dunstan the week after for him as I will have enough cap. Looking at N Jones or even humbly trading Danger back in this week. Or should I just back Selwood from the get go?

Advice?

FWIW SC Gold predicts Robertson will rise $49k next week and another $65 in total over the following 2 weeks. It predicts Crouch will rise $65k next week, another $45 the following week and then have the bye. Not a lot between them profit wise but Crouch is likely to score more IMO.

What's your reason for wanting Selwood this week? Will it be the deciding factor in a crucial league win? If not hold off. Don't need to do 2 trades. I'm backing both dunstan and Tyson to go close to there BE's so either way they won't lose much.

If your dying to trade then downgrade this week and upgrade to Selwood next week.
