Hi guys, I have 158k with 26 trades left. Im thinking that its too late to get on the Fasolo train (I shouldnt have missed it before it left the station)

So I'm thinking two downgrades this week.

Tyson to Billings
Ellis to Robertson (will give me mid DPP linking to my fwds)

will leave me approximately 450k for next week. What do you think guys, help a newbie out. Are there better choices given my team structure

I know. What other options do I have in the mids? I'm not sold on Robertson. I think Lloyd will make more money is handy as an f6 in case I swing danger into mids.

I wouldn't mind them either JM and next week I'll have the $ to trade Langford and Langdon into any two of Simpson, Hibberd, RMurphy or Birchall. If I don't talk myself into Billings, my trades this week will be:

Ellis>Cutler (via Langdon)
Dunstan>Lloyd (via Zorko)

These will leave 635k in the kitty.

Dude, nothing wrong with those 3! They will all bounce back and you will be laughing! I can't wait to pick up Wingard in a week or 2. I already have Roughy and Libba i probably won't touch, but that's just personnel preference.

Its just annoying that I had Pavlich and Gray in my team for alot of the pre season but got talked out of them for various reasons and now they are gunning it and Roughead and Wingard are spudding it up and dropping shitloads in cash so can't trade them out for even a half eaten snickers bar now.

And if they continue to spud up from now on they will be worth sweet heck all and I'll be stuck with them for the rest of the season.

I went Wingard as I thought he was meant to play through the midfield but so far hasn't done that yet Gray has. Gray is getting the good scores as a result and Wingard isn't.

Hawks are just kicking the ball to Gunstan now and Roughead will be lucky to get the scraps from now on.

I had Pav all season. Should have stuck with him as he is Freos main target up forward compared to Roughead now.

Hence why I am so annoyed now at Wingard and Roughead and regret starting them over Gray and Pavlich.

Unfortunately for me though I'm stuck with Wingard and Roughead now and just have to pray that they get better.

Nice team! Instead of Ellis to Robertson I'd look at going Ellis to Cutler (via Langdon). From what I've read Cutler has better JS plus there are a lot of mid rookie options coming up.

That's not what you wrote a few weeks ago. IIRC you said you picked Roughy & Wingard because you had no idea who else to pick after your 1st 2 premo selections. I can find the post if you like. .

Billings isnt going to increase much in price, I can get him next week.

Given my team structure, what 2 "ins" would the brains trust recommend? 158K and 26 trades left....

Nah I said that for Roughead, not for Wingard though.

I picked Wingard for reasons I stated above .ie. thought he would be playing through the midfield.

As it turns out Gray is getting more midfield time than Wingard.

I did pick Roughead due to not knowing who else to pick that is true.

I should have just picked Pavlich instead despite people saying he was too old, finished, etc.

Not sure about a lot of mid rookies coming up... the only 1st gamer this week that I know of was Bontempelli and he is priced awkwardly at $200k. Any others you know are coming up?

My opinion is to grab Robertson with a mid this week and use Langdon to get Cutler next week (you give up Cutler's 1 price rise but Robertson's BE is slightly lower so Cutler's rise will likely be less). Build the warchest with downgrades this week and next, then unleash the premos come rnd 9...

Wondering what people think of bringing in Robbie Gray this week? I might be biased so looking for objective views based on Supercoach wisdom

I would have to switch Danger into the mids and downgrade Ellis to Robertson and Tyson to R Gray. Risky move which leaves me little cash and I miss out on Cutler but not sure on him yet.

Or would it be better to downgrade Ellis via Langdon to Cutler and Tyson to Robertson leaving plenty of cash for a fallen premium next week?
