I'd feel dirty blowing both of my trades for the week before the first game of the round though!!

I'd love to do the double down this week but need to start upgrading at some stage. Hayes and Hately likely on the bubble next week, with Bewley, North and Hind still to put in appearances. Lots of mid rooks, but scarcely any others, which is why Baker is the must have for me this week.

I would consider Lockhart, but Rocky is likely to rise by just as much this week as Lockhart, and should score a lot more points. Gotta get me some of that action!!
Good call if you didn’t go with Lockhart (based on tonight’s return). Don’t think Hind will see much game time, if any, injuries aside. A player that couldn’t get game time at the Bombers but was able to bump up his perceived value on the back of one great piece of play in the “reserves” win in the finals last year. I might be underselling his talent a little bit, but still don’t see an SC future for him yet

Tough decisions to be had.
Used 1 trade this round - Scott to Ross.
Ross pleasantly has surprised me by scoring an 89.
Now that's value.

The second trade - I am undecided on but will likely make one, don't want to make the wrong move; don't like these types of rounds
from a SC POV but it does make it interesting in a sense I can see more footy as don't usually have the time.

I already have an idea for RD7 trades - bringing in TK and Hately is my aim.

Goldstein > Crisp via Bines back to R3, ROB to R2, Moore to FWDs.
Really not sure on it as it places a burden on ROB to maintain the 85 odd clip for a little while and it’s got a sideways element to it, but for some reason it seems attractive.

Gives you $485k to spend and you already have the obvious ones (Rocky and Walsh),I'd wait and week for Hately and pick up a bag of cash to go for Sheed to some thing premium.

Unless you have a dpp backliner that you can shift to Sheed's spot and pick up Rotham (if he gets a run) as well as a bag of cash.

Have Duursma that I could shift into Sheeds spot. Think I’ll wait. Sheed May go crazy and be worth a keep so I’ll hold and if he doesn’t perform then Hately.

Thanks for the help.

No Hateley this week - dropped after one game (unless GWS do a Joe Daniher)

Will Clark come back into Geelongs side next week?

If rotham plays I want to trade 1 of Clark and burgess but not sure yet.

I think with Touhy back we may have seen the last of Clarke for sometime.
Though I'm no Geelong expert.

I'm still undecicided on trading Sheed or not.
Was almost set to go Sheed > Sicily and next week Hately and T Kelly in.
Not sure if there will be a downgrade option to make the required cash.
Maybe I'll go no trades and see how he dust settles.

Yeah some are saying Henry and tuohy are ahead of him and others are saying Guthrie could get dropped for him but I don't have a clue about Geelong so no point me commenting on it.

I just want to know who to trade Clark or burgess haha

id probably trade burgess cause even if he does come back he probably will lose money, I think Clark will probably come back in next week like Constable this week

I went Sheed to Sicily today.

Who knows with this crazy game. Sheed could go big, or could pump out a 3rd 65

Some talk suggests there's changes afoot while snooping their game day thread.
The decision isn't so clear for me right now... will wait till 1 minute before the bounce tomorrow night to make a move.

Id say he will get a decent run for the rest of the year if he can keep the disposal quality up and Touhy coming back shouldn't have much influence on his J/S IMO, Depth is pretty good this year on most lines right now though so any drops in form will result in a quick trip to the seconds for most of the geelong rooks.

400k in bank.

I still think Butters and Clark make some cash from here. Parker unsure about, but can take a spin on him this week. Clark/Burgess out is a worry but they won't lose money, and def upgrades are too pricey at the moment.

Looking at T.Kelly first upgrade, along with Macrae, but both should drop in value this week so I'm thinking I'll just hold for one more week and then upgrades the few weeks after that.

Thoughts appreciated.

Agree with this. I think Clark is pretty decent, good user of the ball and pretty reliable. He may spend a week away every now and then but he will get games. Burgess is a money pit, blessing he is dropped this week so no need to trade straight away.
