Trades Round 6 Trades

Last boost for a while this round.

Pretty standard trades based on BE’s
Out - Rowell, Hinge, McCartin
In - Steele, Pruest the free kick giver, Rosas

A few weeks early for McCartin but had to keep the cash gen train moving.

Will continue to go really aggressive to get full premo midfield as early as possible.

So far. McRae, Steele, Neale, Green Cripps, Caldwell, Berry, rookie loop
Bench - JHF, Martin, Stephens

Two weeks and should have two more Premo mids in. Leaving one spot to upgrade in byes.

One thing Im thinking about is rookie keepers. Guys we got cheap at less than 250k. And keeping these guys til finals or season long.
Using them later in season injury cover D7, M9, R3 and F7
Players so far (one or two combos from each line)
D7 - Daicos/O’Driscoll
M9 - JHF + Daicos/O’Driscoll + Brodie/Martin
R3 - J.Hayes/Dixon/Xerri
F9 - same as rucks plus Brodie/Martin

This plan may keep me from uber premos in all lines but saves trades and adds flexible coverage.
Also this plan may change as less cash rookies become available. First in each line to be traded last.

May mean also rolling with Cogs/Brodie M8/F6 season long.

Too many season Ive played with trade regret ruthlessly culling top earning rookies just to get similar scores in the backend of the season from the Premo’s they moved to.

I have to remind myself.
Supercoach is a points based cash game. Not a cash based points game.

no-brainer for me, I need the grundy cash to fix other spuds in my midfield. Preuss is seriously looking like a premo level ruck, the stats don't lie and he is averaging 110 now!

Okay, so do I trade Grundy to Neale and swing Dixon to R2? Or keep Preuss at R3 and trade JHF & Rachele to Neale and Rosas.

Grundy and JHF/Rachele to Neale and Rosas will pocket me 300k for upgrades next week.

With Hayes dead I’ll have to trade him to P.A Hayes next week.

I think Grundy will come good. Would have only traded to get Preuss to R2. I think he averages enough to be a reasonable R2 from here so not worth the trade unless you're bringing in both Preuss and Hayes.

Have Preuss at R3 which is annoying, but now I get to assess who to trade out of Grundy or Witts for Hayes next week to bring in Oliver. Was set on JHF to Oliver, but should have enough to go J Hayes to Oliver instead, hopefully big score from JHF to kick start his cash gen again.

I like the simple:

Grundy to Macrae

As you've got the the cash.
There's a good chance Hinge plays next week.
Rosas isn't a must. Gives you a week to assess how others like JHF moo.

I strongly suspect you won't be able to move him after they play.

And going for Hayes ( this week or next) over Preuss?

Yeah, I have Gawndy so I’m grabbing the cheaper option in Hayes next week as it is purely for cash gen. With Gawndy I couldn’t get both without trading Grundy so Hayes it is for me. After last night jury is well and truly out if that was the right call but, so far this year I have held Crisp, Gawn and Steele and they have all come good. Fingers crossed Grundy can too.

No, once Eagles game starts they are all locked in place, so you won’t be able to move him.
