Surprise, surprise - Play a bloke in the position in which he excelled as a junior and what got him drafted, and he succeeds.

And no, I'm not saying Schoenmakers should have been playing ahead of Buddy, Roughy or Gunston all this time, and I'm not saying Hawthorn have been unsuccessful or could have been more successful because of it. Just don't be shocked by it, is all.

As much as I'd like to agree with you, it's only St Kilda we're playing.

Tbh, I reckon I'd kick 6 out there for the hawks today.

We may have to look at our strategy of players running off to the bench after they kick a goal. We are only allowed 120 rotations a game.

Why isn't Riewoldt playing?

Bit unfair, he's clearly injured - has been hobbling around since an awkward landing in the first quarter. Sad to see, unfortunately the Saints have already used their sub.

Saints young players have completely run out of puff, it's ugly now.

More concerned now about Lake, Mitch, McEvoy etc. given we have the Swans on Friday night.

St Kilda/Hawthorn games for 15 years have honoured this.

New to the team?

No I am aware we have played for this cup but I havn't exactly paid meticulous attention to what it represented. All I knew of the cup was that it had something to do with fallen Police officers. A good cause but the only cup that I'm really overly concerned about in footy is the Premiership cup.

Yeah, fair enough. I'm just considering all the shit Schoenmakers has copped over the years for iffy performances as a defender, when he was primarily a forward as a junior at Norwood.

First 6 quarters between Carlton and the Saints and there's only been FIVE goals kicked.

Round 7 everyone :rolleyes::thumbsu:
