Replay still not available on Fox. This is ridiculous. Kayo is owned by the same company, why do they have HD replays instantly available when someone paying more for Foxtel and sports package gets shafted? All because my device doesn't currently support Kayo. fu** this. Ordering a Chromecast now and cancelling foxtel completely.
I did that at the start of the season. Unfortunately the streaming quality of Kayo is terrible, so I had to go back.

I have Kayo at the moment but can only watch it on phone and laptop which isn't ideal. If it weren't for Foxtel's snail level replay availability I wouldn't have it at all. From my experience it's fine streaming, does it get worse when streaming to a tv using chromecast?

McCluggage still $51 for the Brownlow. 😍😱

On a side note, surely they'll end up swapping the fixtures. I smell another home game next week.

What do they get out of that? Or you mean the AFL will force them to play at the Gabba due to Covid bullshit?

That was my experience. It was fine on my small screens but really choppy on a big TV. It could be an issue with chromecast, but my other streaming services all work perfectly.

Not seeing much love for Ah Chee but I think he played a cracker tonight!
Agreed. With McZorko, O'Ah Chee led the team in tackles and played desperate, committed football. Best I can remember seeing from him and he cemented his place in the team IMO. (What happened to the Irish theme?)

Terrific win despite the really underwhelming last quarter.

When you have your opponents by the throat at 3/4 time, as a supporter you always hope for a total flogging so you go home fully satisfied.

It just doesn't seem to happen much anymore in modern footy as the dominant side has a tendency to put the cue in the rack once the game is done and dusted. It was pleasing however, that we did respond with two really nice late goals to underline our superiority.

Interested (but not surprised) to hear about the commentary bias, not that I heard any of that commentary because I was at the game.

Surely it couldn't have been worse than last week when Eddie and Derwayne were in competition for which of them could barrack the hardest for Carlton.

Could It?

Robinson's continued workrate and effort gets him a vote from me. Just awesome.

He's really reminded us what he's capable of this year. Had a forgettable 2020 and even if the end is nigh you wouldn't know it. I never should have doubted a guy with that sort of grit.

Yep.

Whiting posted a cheeky tweet about it earlier.

"My fortune telling now is that Brisbane will be back at The Gabba next weekend😂"

We'll destroy them at home after a bruising derby and having to travel from WA but kinda liked the idea of 4 home games to round out the season. Not like it makes a difference in the grand scheme though, I guess.

What a great team effort. Solid win, port never looked like getting on top. The backs, mids n fwds all good as units. Devrob gets better and looks more comfortable each week. Prior better as well. I hope madden gets another run, he did some good things and didn't look overwhelmed. His defense was better than I thought it would be. Get more games into him. The 4 horseman of the apocalypse, ( O, Joe, hippy n Mcstay), are becoming a real problem for the opposition. Love it. Harris, clug, Lyons, zorks all great. Another week where we didn't have a bad player on the field.

Was thinking, we may not take the flag this year, injuries could see us finish 6-8. But I think this will be a year that sets us up for the next 5. We are developing great depth and best 22 potential, B2, prior, devrob. Exposing others to the big show, sharpie, madden, Fullerton. As with most here I'd love to see what Ely has to offer this year. The fwds are clicking and will be so much better the next few years. The backs are a solid unit. Answerth and payne in the wings, prior and madden breaking in to it. Happy to see as much work getting cockatoo fit and ready as needed, hope he plays a handful this year and explodes into the next few years. Squads win flags and ours will be so much better for this year, where ever we finish.

There's been a fair bit of discussion on here recently about why Payne should be played over Adams, despite him not even being currently fit. Adams last few games have really solidified why we targeted him. His intercept work is great, he outbodies his opponents, his straight line running is like a steam train and efforts like those in the 3rd where he poleaxed one player and beat another to give off the ball are things that Payne simply can not do currently. Loving that he's being able to get a nice run of games. Could end up seriously impressive.
If he keeps fit, a fine player.

for what it's worth, you can still watch full match replays for free on the AFL site. Uploaded before midday the day after the match i'd say.

Thought they'd change it back behind a paywall after the first few weeks like previous years...

Would love some impressions of Madden from those at the game? He didn't look great on the telly. To be fair, hard when you can't see a defenders work rate/pressure/second efforts etc etc

Just my two cents on the newbies also, but Dev will be a great player for this club. Look out. Prior could be something too. Great win.
