Thinking of dumping Geary as he has a BE of 120 and had two bad games in a row. So most likely it'll be trading Geary for Horsley and moving Deledio into my backs. That'll give me $343,500 in the bank. I'll then either sit on the cash for Ablett later or trade in a ruckman depending if Redden, Orren or Longer get named.

No cashing in any GWS players for me yet as they are still making $$$. Only when break evens become higher than averages will that happen.

im also aware these kids generally get their BE going past their average due to a bad week, rather than a long slow build. for me if they are only one game away from their BE going past their average then its time to move them on. simply cant afford that bad week if they are on the field.

Also have to take into account that their scoring slows, so they might only make 30k over a month, meanwhile the bloke you're bringing in will make $150k.

If you're upgrading the rookie, then you have to ask if they guy you're upgrading to will rise the same amount as the rookie anyway.

Eg Scott Selwood will probably rise about 20-30k this week, the same if not more than Magner.

good point. im confident of him keeping his spot. he's a mature age player who goes in hard around the ball although he may be given a break in a few weeks time. only time will tell.

I've gone goodes to Pendles losing MID/FWD link(gaining heaps of ppg) and Kennedy to Sidebottom getting smashed in all my leagues and have to much money not in playwill likely miss the Horsley/adam boats but oh well need the points now can't wait any longer

Didn't he cop the Crowley tag last week? If so you would think Ablett and Rischa returning may even help his stats as he won't get tagged. Im more worried about him being the sub or being subbed.

What do people know about him and what do they think of his playing prospects?

I'd say he's a good chance to stay in the team. Been in the top 5 of the GWS kids (excluding the mature players) both games so far, and is obviously fresh with only two games in the seniors so far. Playing well and scoring well, but you may have to worry about a rotation in two or three weeks.

My experience with Greene and Treloar has been they were both rested after their third game (though Horsely was named as injured if you believe that). So yeah don’t be surprised if he’s out in round 4. Personally I’m taking him ahead of Ada ms purely because he’s a fwd/mid.

Where was Horsley named injured? Do you mean Treloar?

Not really, the highest and most consistent scorers are in the mids so you'll be disadvantaged each week once teams complete their midfield.
