So i'm leaning towards
Fasolo OUT (Move Danger back to Mids - Play Aish on Field - Move Mcdonald as Bench Cover in Mids)
Cutler IN

Thoughts?

Also, Cutler or Gardiner?

Ive posted my team a couple of times above.

Will be doing Hickey to premo (probably Mcevoy)

I think it is worth jumping on a defensive rookie in Cutler or Gardiner this week, although I will miss out on Robertson. Ellis the most likely option to b downgraded.

Just hope there are a few more rookie mids coming through next week and the week after (O'Rourke, Acres, Salem and Honeychurch are options)
If Cutler is not the sub (yes hes named on the ground but still whos knows).
He will make you (us) cash b/e -40 odd but iffy JS with 2 sub games and maybe future sub games.
Where Gardiner will score low 30-50.

You guys have got me paranoid about cutler now. Brought Murphy in as part of an up/down trade and it's locked. If Cutlers sub, it's a waste of a trade.

Got $620k from ditching Titch last week.
Thinking of going:
Langford > Hibberd
XEllis > Parker via Taylor Mid

Thoughts? Or any other suggestions.

Your midfield should be a priority ATM. Very weak. Your defence is strong even without Hibberd. I'd be looking to trade in a premo mid and a premo forward this week if I were you.

Hi All,

Was hoping for some advice with my team this week not sure what to do with Fasolo this week ideally want to keep him but with buddy out my forward line is looking a bit rank!!!

Currently have $420 in the bank

Swallow, McVeigh, S. Mitchell, L Mac, Sutcliffe, Laidler (Langdon, Langford)

GAJ, Pendles, Beams, J.Selwood, Macrae, Polec, Tyson, Kelly (Taylor, Robertson)

Sandi, Mumford (Derickx, Thurlow)

Dangerfield, Gunston, Matin, Buddy, Fasolo, Lloyd (JKH, Impey)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Hey Dude,

Not sure I'll be any help, but can definately sympathise as along with Mayes & Billings I the last 6 of your 8 forwards in Martin, Buddy, Fasolo, Lloyd (JKH, Impey)

I'm tempted to ditch one of both Buddy & Fasolo as I just can't accept wearing a sub affected (or just dud affected) score of my many rookie forwards particularly Impey & Lloyd.

I'm considering bringing in Dahlhaus or Darling as a R9 Bye forward for any of Fasolo, Buddy, Impey or Lloyd at this point in time, depending on where my bad instincts take me this weekend.

Sorry but hes has 2 sub games proof/pudding but he scored 89 in a full game.Brissy play 3 talls down back.
I'm thinking about getting him still pending on teams and subs impey and Lloyd.

Someone talk me out of getting Nic Nat for Currie..
Already have Mummy/Sandi

Sorry, I'll do the opposite. I thought NicNat looked decent again for the first time this season against the Blues, & Big Cox said last night on The Footy Show something along the lines of that he's slowly coming good with the continuity of game time he's getting each week.

So he's very much on my radar for Currie also as a bit of Bye coverage.......but my judgement on midpricers has been atrocious this year, so no, don't do it.

At least you can wait for teams to pull that trigger.

I've made a commitment to a blind date. Hope he shows up lol!

The only reason anyone should chose Gardiner over Cutler is if they don't have the extra $37k.
Cutler scored as much and more as the sub last week (47) than Gardiner did in either of his two full games (48 & 36) and in his full game the week before Cutler's score (89) was more than Gardiner has totaled in his two full games (84). Also Cutler is expected to rise in value by about $70k over the next 3 weeks compared to Gardiner's expected rise of just over $50k.

Yes.

Leppa has spoken highly of Gardiner and it seems as though his spot is secure in the short term.

Might only score 30-50, but as long as i navigate the bye rounds whilst he slowly plods along...then so be it.
Cutler can score that as a sub. <~~ although risky, he has a higher ceiling and more ca$i$h potential imo

Me.

I got Ebert as the other trade, and he fits in perfectly with my price and bye structure. I cannot possibly find the 37k :(

Thanks for that.
Yeah I realised my mid is my weak link, will look at what mid options are on the cheap then.
Wanting to try get Ablett in after his bye to strengthen up that section. Will need to make some smart moves to afford that though.

I still might get cutler and upgrade dunstan but has to be done before knowing the brissy subs.
I just hope Cutler is not the new JThurlow/Dochey type.
Blind trading is drinking and SCíng at the same time :drunk::):rainbow:.

Really like the Ebert pick. Great player, very consistent.

Personally, I've gone Dunstan>Murphy & LMac>Cutler.

Wanted to hold LMac but he has to go to facilitate MM trade. I'll fn spew if Cutler is sub.

Can't believe both Ebert (0.67%) and Boyd (1%) are so unique. 5 and 17th overall in the comp and they have been doing very well.

I'll take it
Ebert was great last year. Hoped he'd have def/mid DPP this year. Would have been a LOCK. Good luck with him.

Boyd's come back from the dead. Too expensive now considering what else is available at his price.
