Alright fellas, go nuts. What would you do?

24 trades left, $350k in the bank

View attachment 490077

double upgrade for a few cheap def "premos" (Sicily, Shaw, Ryan, Seedsman, Hibberd??)
or
1 up/1 down with Cole or (go a week early on) Spargo and grab a top tier def/fwd premo or a fallen mid premo (Zerrett, JPK, etc)
Billings is 400k?? Yikes

Mid and Fwd (probs Henry) rookie of choice out
Tracc to fwds
Then combination of Mid and Back premo and rookie in. Depends if you want to field 2* mid rooks and 3 backs, or 1 and 4.

Some combos:
Cole and 660k mid (Macrae, Clayon, Jelwood, Pendles, Neale)
Spargo and any friggin back (Hurn, Simmo, Hurley, Yeo)

Personally id strengthen up the backs, but great position you are in!

*Lets be honest, SP Kelly is a keeper :p

Trading a spud like Zorko to a risky JPK is not the answer. Target the big gun safe picks. If you don't have Danger, Titch, Dusty, Fyfe, Cripps go after them. And target Mouch when he has bottomed out

On [device_name] using BigFooty.com mobile app

Holman to Spargo
Zorko to Cripps/Oliver

20 trades left:

Laird, Hibbered, Sicily, Finlayson, Doedee, Murray | Richards, Murphy
Danger, Mitchell, Fyfe, Martin, Cripps, Kelly, Coffield | Banfield, Garlett, Spargo
Gawn, NicNat | Olango
Heeney, Mclean, Smith, Billings, Christensen, Fritch | Henry, Guelfi

Ryder, Libba, Zorko, Billings, Hibbered some picks who have ****ed me from the start.

Yeah think I might piss off Holman this week now.

Holman > Spargo
Coffield > Hurley

$98K left so next week -

Banfield > Ronke
Petracca > Dangerfield or Murray > Simpson/Yeo
How is everyone's thoughts on Ronke and Spargo and maybe Mutch?

I'd much rather do 1 up 1 down trades next few weeks, but none are on the bubble til round 8 and Duman is the only cheapish bubble boy this week plus the last defender alone with Cole available until new debutants emerge.

Also I have Naughton and Murray down back who are closer to peaking than 2 of my forward rookies in Fritsch and Guelfi, so I reckon bringing in say a Ronke could hurt structurally. Spargo and Mutch are probably better structurally for me with their midfield status over the next few weeks.

Could go Spargo this week I guess instead of Duman.

Hey guys, wondering if I could people's thoughts on team atm. Burning through trades (as you can see), so not even sure if I want to this week, but my Bonner's wearing off with a BE of 70, so time to go I think.

Do I do anything else? Only need 1, maybe 2 upgrades up FWD, so DEF & MID are my main concerns. Not sure Muzz is ready to go yet and Holman and Banfield still have 1 more week left to moo I'd say. SP Hurley (BE 99), Seagull Simpson (BE 97), Albino Heeney (BE 115) & Stud Cripps (BE 46 :'() are on my radar, but with only $61k and those breakevens maybe waiting a week will be better (or till after the byes for Cripps).

Greene could be a concern if he doesn't get up again for Friday night

Bonner, Holman, Greene and holding Ryan are probably most concerning for you at the moment

Murray to duman and banfield to danger. Leaves me with 100k and 24 trades. For once, happy with where my teams heading. Cant wait for it to go **** up!!

Yeah, bit worried about Greene, but loath to do another sideways premo trade until I absolutely have to (already had to do Zorks, Jelly & ****ing Billings...). Fritsch still has 1-2 weeks left with a -7 BE so he can cover if he has to (provided there's no more FWD carnage). Can't see him getting dropped after today's game.

Holman has a 35 BE, so will back him to at least match that. 4 out of 6 games have been 80+, and if he gets Bont the Bulldogs Barometer then he's a chance to score well again. Just cautious about him on field now. Will see where he's positioned on the team sheets.

I was waiting for some good, cheap rookies for Ryan to mitigate only getting ~80k out of him (wasn't sold on Higgins' JS). Spargo and Ronke look the goods so far, so can do that next week.

Who could I trade Bonner to? Can switch Cough into DEF for a MID rookie if need be.

EDIT - Christensen's BE is 87, so probably time for him too. Could go a week early on Spargo/Ronke then Bonner -> whomever. Swap Fritsch for the other one next week provided all goes well, then Banfield/Holman upgrade.

After avoiding some of the early season carnage my ship is well and truly in the storm now. Forward line is worst hit.
I have Billings, Walters, Langdon and an underperforming Dahlhaus.
Just hoping get some good news re Langdon and Walters knees.

This week, if good news on those injuries could do
Banfield > JPK and Holman > Zerrett
Or Just Holman > Danger and wait for MCrouch.

If bad news with injuries, I got no idea.

I'm considering Howe now instead of McLean after planning on McLean all weekend :p

Yeo was last weeks bottomed out defender, Howe is this week's if you want to turn Bonner into something better for an extra 150k

Cash cows still have a bit more in them but Billings has to go am thinking for Ctibbs.

Am also considering trading up Sandi to Grundy. Sandi has done his job.

Should be right to go one up and one down for Danger next week.

Thoughts?

Damn I thought Ronke was a mid? :(

He is useless to me now as my forward rookies are Guelfi, English, Fritsch and Higgins.

I guess I could swing Petracca back down to the forward line via Higgins and trade him out for Ronke if he has another average game and then upgrade Banfield > Dangerfield or Murray > Simpson/Yeo.

Nope

Ronke FWD
Mutch MID
Spargo FWD/MID

Thinking double trade; Billings to Cole (via swinging Sicily fwd) then $569k left to spend on a premium mid (from upgrading Holman).

Wanted Clayton Oliver but $600 short

Zerrett and Neale seem under priced but leaning towards The Bont. Matt Crouch also tempting (and can afford) but BE still 182 so will be cheaper again soon.
