Isn’t too many downgrade options in the mid/fwd this week and going a week may allow double downgrades next week aswell. Highly rated Melbourne player. Not saying half them know this but could be some reasoning. As you said DPP helps. Always risk with no matter who you bring in.

O'meara > Zerrett is pretty much a lock

Has more chance of going 150+ than what Macrae does.

Macrae is consistent but he will never give you the really big score that you are looking for at that type of money

Considering forking out the extra $64k for Oliver instead of Merrett.

Still worried that Merrett will cop tags and be targeted as it’s obvious he’s susceptible to the tag. Know all too well having traded in Sloane last year only for him to get tagged week on week for crap scores.

Oliver’s lowest score has been 74, with a massive ceiling filled with other scores of 104, 123, 128 and 146. Pretty consistent, and his off games are akin to Dusty’s.

Making him an even tastier proposition is the fact that his next 3 opponents are Saints, Suns and Carlton.

I want Oliver too. The only thing that concerns me is the last two games has been down on his usual output without any close attention (that I am aware of). Concerns me that he might be carrying a niggle. Only had one score under 90 last year. He's had two in the last 4 weeks. BE 145.
