It's hard without seeing your side .....it varies from side to side, depending on where your team is in transition .....there's no general formulae, it will vary with each Coach
So many 💩 flavoured 🍩's at the moment that I need to get rid of. 24 trades and 613k in the bank:

Constable, Newman & Scrimshaw all out hurts a lot, but am thinking with Whitfield's monsterous BE for the next fortnight after return, he might actually be a smart candidate for a good old Judd_Magic Roughy treatment. As much as it hurts my soul, I can flip him straight into Fyfe and then get him back once his BE regulates itself and save some $$$ for future upgrades.

Also after some additional research, I can understand the interest still being there for Ross @ 190k, he is definitely a safer choice than Hayes or Young in regards to JS and probably safer than the group on the bubble next week. I do worry about Cotchin coming back however but his centre bounce attendance rate is encouraging as are his possession numbers.

Thinking of going:
Whitfield > Fyfe via Duursma
Newman > Ross via Moore & Drew

Side then looks like:

Leaves the side a little thin but still gives me 22 trades & $918k to upgrade with while we wait for viable rookies.

Thoughts? opinions? letters of recommendation to be mentally assessed... all welcome and appreciated 😎 have at it my friends.
Here is my situation... would you look at Hayes over Ross, I understand my side is a bit thin but feel like it is worth taking the rookies while they are there as we have no idea when they will dry up...

Would people trade out Constable or Butters for Hayes?

If I trade out Butters I'd end up looping Hayes with Gibbons/Atkins, if Constable I'd have to start Butters or Hayes outright.

I'd like to keep Constable but I'm just worried he won't ever get back into the side.

Seriously looking at Constable to Hayes

Allows me kiera to fyfe via some swinging action. Just waiting on final teams

Richo swinging the axe?

in: Callan Ward & Tommy Sheridan

I maybe a newbie, but I'm going:

In: W Hayes & J Lloyd

only problem is I only have 24 trades left :(

Hai

Brown was exposed for speed badly last week. We were also too short down back hence Marsh and Joyce (who was pretty good in the preseason ans rd1)

Also- your results are back.

You have an ingrown toenail. PC brigade won't let me explain what that other rash is.....

Whats Hayes JS like?
Undecided whether to go Constable to Hayes or Ross. I prefer Ross but has already had the price rise and the extra cash could be handy. Then again if Ross does a Walsh and hits 350-400 its probably worth it as Hayes almost certainly wouldnt do that.

Second trade looking Scrim to Laird. If I go to Hayes I can afford any defender however Lloyd, Hurn etc will remain around these prices all year so may as well capitalise on the underpriced Laird. Wanted to trade Collins but his BE and Proj Score suggest he wont move in price much this week anyway.

my 2c

same as everyone else here so confused about trades this week, will go 3 rookies in backline for this week..
which one would be better

a) constable to hayes
drew to daniel/kelly

b) constable to ross
b scott to hayes

worried that scott wont be back any time soon. next week can hopefully generate cash going setterfield/parker to corbett and burgess to answorth.. thanks in advance guys

Really confused what to do. Before teams I had committed to Collins to Answorth and Butters to Fyfe. Now unsure.

Whitfield & Scrimshaw both out leaves Collins and Lockhart. Do we trade Whitfield and look to bring him back in 3 weeks?
Constable and maybe Setterfield means Butters and Gibbons/Petrucelle (moving Setters forward).

Feel like my team needs another gun mid, especially with Crouch and Libba potentially getting close to their peaks.

Forward and Rucks are sorted for now.

I could go with the standard Constable and Scrimshaw to Hayes and Laird/Sicily. Half tempted to look into Ross (even though missing first price rise). Could then bring Answorth in next week for Butters/Gibbons.

Any thoughts? toxic go you pups Seymour Skinner stevebbb Jiska
I am now thinking perhaps
Scott -> Ross
Scrimshaw -> Laird/Sicily
Using Constable I can then Loophole Butters and Setters/Gibbons.

Leaves me with 57k (20 if Sicily) in the bank. Will then look to bring in another premo Mid by downgrading Butters/Gibbons/Constable to Answorth next week.

Other alternative I have been looking at is
Scrimshaw ->Laird/Sicily
Constable -> Ross/hayes

Leaves me with 187K Laird or 154K Sicily.

I personally do not need a MID atm, but I am surprised people haven't been mentioning Yeo. Eagles have a better run in the next 6 weeks, and he has notched 2 tons in the last 3 weeks, looks to be finding form again.
His up and down scoring would do your head in. Reckon he's a decent pick up though for his price, worth a punt. I'm not going anywhere near round 13 bye players though, so he's a firm no for me

Currently:

Out: Constable and Atkins
In: Tobias McLean and Hayes
Yuk
Nothing to suggest McLean is getting anywhere near the middle every again
I'd go Toby Greene before McLean

I see what you mean, only 3 sub-90 scores last year however. And I think he has recovered from his interrupted PS.

Depends on people's teams, but at the moment MID rookies seem OK, it is the forward and defence we need to upgrade ASAP.

Yeo was reasonably consistent last year, apart from that putrid 27 in Rd3. Only one other score under 83.

Posted this in the x vs y vs z...

Would you constables go:

Hayes and fyfe (m6 with libba and walsh at m6 and 7)

Or

Ross and daniel (f5)?
