Need some advice.

Traded Yarran > Thurlow a week early to cover a backline donut.

Want to trade Wines to either Hannath or Daw to ride a price rise on the ruck bench over five weeks or so until upgrading to a premium mid about Round 13.

So who is the better option?

Hannath ($163,500) is now Freo's starting ruckman so his scores should improve, but he's a first-year player and it's a big job carrying the ruck. He has Melbourne and Brisbane at home, Sydney and Adelaide away.

Daw ($208,100) is playing as a tall forward and has a higher ceiling. He has Adelaide and St Kilda at home, West Coast and Gold Coast away.

Any thoughts?

Daw has shown (albeit from 1 game) that he is capable of scoring premo on his day. Also has a B/E of -78 will make heaps this week even if he scores 50-60. I'd be bringing him in myself if I didn't have bigger fish to fry this week.

I would think that Daw has a higher ceiling. Hannath might start as first ruck, but they've brought in Zac Clarke to cover as well and he'll get his fair share of time in the centre.

How many games do people think staker will play? Im thinking Thurlows job security is very poor. With my backline destroyed, im thinking I could have to rely on staker as my 6th backman until late in the season. Thoughts on staker playing every week. And if so what would his expected average be?

I think Clarke will do most of the ruck work, but will both play ruck/forward obviously.

wanted to get rid of stevenson but injuries have made me do otherwise after these trades i still have $347,400 in the kitty so plenty to upgrade in the next few weeks. Eyeing off goddard (i know i should have had him from the start but took a gamble) and nic nat in a couple when he bottoms out.

Any other trade suggestions would be appreciated, not interested in priddis as i have fyfe who scores similar to him and dont see priddis as a top mid
