You might want to read the post you were quoting when you gave your wrong answer. The poster said we are one flag behind the Tigers in the AFL era. The AFL era began in 1990 numbnuts.

Since 1990 we have won 2 and they have won 3.

I even counted them out with my fingers. Guess what else I did? I used my eyes and brain too.

AFL era started 1990. They have 3 we have 2. But I think you miss the point. Lets select some meaningless time period to show how bad a team is. Why do people do this?

I’m sorry for thinking we’ve been around for 130 years. I suppose that’s the attention span of many these days. We only exist in the times we are told.

So that means our jumper isn’t important. It’s just an old reflection of our past. And any players who played before 1990 are really from the dark old days of VFL Collingwood. Great to know.

I know that this is something that escapes most of the kids of the future. If you don’t learn from your past. You are inevitably doomed to repeat it.

Are you sure you’re not a Tigers fan? They love manipulating time periods to make things look worse for Collingwood than they really are too.
But yeah, this time period is totally relevant. Nothing counts before 1958 after all.
