How much cash you got left?

Ross and Atkins at M8 are big problems, Ross is a trade, he won't be back until July with his syndemosis, then Crouch might not play either, so I'd be holding Walsh for now.

I have 211k spare at the moment
Yeah just trade both Atkins and Ross to Stocker/Hately and a premo

211k is a good starting point, no point getting Neale at sky high price

A POD like JPK would be a good mid option at your price range that you could afford, plus you only have 2 R13 players in your mids in Oliver and Answerth if you trade Atkins, so structurally for the byes it's a sound trade, or you could even shift Duursma to the mids and grab Sicily or Stewart or Laird or something? I'd wait on Lloyd to bottom out.

Next week I'd look at trading ROB then upgrade one of Drew/Duursma with that cash. Finding a downgrade rookie could be hard though as you've already got Bines, but if you can get away with that then you're well set up.

ROB makes more cash this week though as apparently his BE is only 33

Ham could be an option for him next week if Rotham or Joyce or another two gamer don't come back in.
He's enough cash cows though

Cheers mate, I’m waiting for Lloyd to drop before I get him and same with Boak, Neale is capable of getting his 150 break even so may grab him, not too sure, I like josh Kelly but worried he will be managed already missed a few games this year. Bontempelli or Merrett might be good options.

Not with Ross and Atkins both getting injured and needing to be moved on plus Crouch might not get up. I wouldn't be comfortable fielding Answerth/Lockhart at M7-8, I'd try and get a few loophole options in which grabbing Stocker this week will help with depth plus he plays Sunday twilight so he's there playing after everyone else if needed.

I'd try and squeeze more cash out of ROB this week then cut him next week as his forwards are fine.
Was thinking along those lines but was looking O’Brien to Corbett and Ross to Neale
Neale has a BE of 158 or something though, turning Walsh to Neale on his bye would work

ROB to Larkey/Corbett isn't too bad a move though, but I'd look at keeping 50-100k in the kitty instead of blowing it all on Neale at sky high price right now.

Yeah I have the same concerns on Kelly

Bont might get shifted around, has burnt me in the past playing patches of the season in midfield, then gets shifted forward for another patch then shifted into midfield again after I trade him out. If he had forward status I'd take him and just roll with the rollercoaster ride, but he won't get it these days.

Zerrett is a solid option, I'm targeting him or Macrae next week when I cash out on ROB. He'd give you a lot more left in the kitty for future upgrades than what Neale would.

Cheers mate, will wait until teams get named and then decide what to do, hoping Hately gets named as that would make things very easy.

Trying to plan ahead because I'm quite r14 heavy, but also don't feel I can afford to miss out on Jelly's next 6 weeks.

So thinking to go early on Walsh -> Jelly and keep it at that.

And over next few weeks will scoop up any bubble boys playing r12 / 13 - looking out for Rotham, Kielty, Sparrow, Ham etc. - will see who is available.

EDIT: Just realised I'm going to have 13 (plus Drew looped) players on field on Sunday :O

Strongly considering BSmith -> Dunkley.

Best case: cheap upgrade, get a top 6 forward, improves my bye structure
Worst case: Bevo goes full Bevo and Dunkley just makes some cash, still improves my bye structure

Only issue that with this and getting Jelly (for Walsh) takes me to 17 trades and no cash. However only 3 decent rookies left on field.

Your whole backline is full of subpremiums, I'd slowly chip away at that at the right time. Moore, Witherden and Haynes are who I'd move on before Smith

Also can't see how you're turning Smith to Dunkley as you don't have any DEF DPP in your mids or forwards

You'll need to bring in another defender to make it happen, thus miss out on Jelly

Most likely Walsh to Neale
Same!
obviously there is a few guys that i want to get in, Defence is set, wont change Back 6, there rock solid

But thought after last week Walsh has hit his $ Ceiling. Could trade him out this round for Neale but wont have much money in my cap if I offlaod him this round. Bont and Boak are also options. Strill need to Upgrade Drew and Duursma, with 19 Trades left at this stage

If everything goes to plan... time for a double upgrade

Clark > Premo MID or FWD (Cameron/Neale/Macrae the leaders at this stage)
Scott > Fyfe

Leaves me about $400-500k with a few cash cows close to maxing out, not the worst spot to be.
Have you got the Hore down back? His been a good cash cow

I offloaded Brayshaw 1 week ago, because even as A Dees supporter, his disposal is quite average. Almsot Dylan Shiel esk (DE% wise)
You could defiently get a better ball user, quick before his price drops any more

Need to off one of Wilkie Constable or Duursma to a rookie for cash and upgrade Parker. Will have to find a rookie. Hopefully Marsh gets back in.
Keep Constable, i made the mistake of offloading him. Duurs might be the end of his $ ceiling

Crap sorry I meant BCrouch out for Dunkley. Yikes. My bad.

Looking at holding Smith.

Aiming to get the others out over the byes for Whit then Lloyd then Laird.

Thanks for the tips!

Yeah Hore is down back and will probably stay until his bye at least. My DEF is the spot that needs the most upgrading but all the premos are at a high BE at the moment so willing to play the waiting game for a little.

Fyfe is 100% coming in this week, still trying to decide if I go Macrae who I 100% want in my final side or Dunkley who has a very low BE and would be a lock to be top 5 on average in the FWD if he stays in his current role.

I would do Drew > Dunkley & Ross > Stocker for some more upgrade cash
