Flynn's getting downgraded from my team next week whether he plays this round or not. The planets are aligning for upgrade trades and they can't wait for him to eek out another 30k.

IIRC Mark McGowan only gave us a few hours notice last time he plunged WA into lockdown .....24 hours is a longtime in Footy at present

That's pretty impressive, I was expecting a pretty weak team with 23 trades left, but this is a decent side
You only missed out on a few players, mainly Impey & Jiah, but apart from that you've done well to get here with 23 trades and 6 rookies on field
BTW - where are you ranked overall? It will be interesting to see how your team will charge up the rankings in the later part of the season, whilst others (me included) run out of trades

Ranked 1,473 overall. Got the rookies right, resisted the flavour of the week guys, mostly. Missed Tex and Impey. Started Cripps

Maybe double down this week could work, but maybe I am kinda thinking about Hawkins into forward line, Ridley next week.

Yeah I don't think Hawthorn are gonna have many more games where it's basically a nil all draw in the first quarter and guys like Mitchell can rack up tons of possessions.

I just can't understand it, especially with JOM being out of the side. Unless he has had a complete role change and he is becoming that contested beast again, I just don't see it. Would want to see him do it with JOM this week to even think about it, but some of his scoring this year has been poo.

Thinking of a double downgrade. Stephenson and Gulden out.....then out of Byrnes, Poulter, RCD. Perhaps I have my St Kilda hat on, but interesting to see more love for RCD than 'Ronnie'. The news about Zac Jones means Byrnes is pretty solid in the team. I think he was anyway. Byrnes has two solid scores and looks comfortable. Richmond will get players back soon, so not sure of RCD's longer term security.

Got Chapman still on the bench in the backline. Be good to turn him into someone like Ridley next week. And Lachlan Jones may return soon on the bubble. Highmore too, who I actually traded out when he got dropped.

Sucks that there are 3 good rookies this week. You really see Byrnes as better than RCD?
