23 trades with only 6 rookies on field. Wow that's brilliant. Have you not had a single injury?

Easy trades imo. Clark and Campbell to RCD and Poulter

Next week you can use the cash to upgrade
I didn't think that my team was that great, but had a look and I've got 20 trades and only 4 rookies onfield (Jordon, Scott, Rowe, Farrar)

Fair few midpricers in the MIDs as the trade off

Pretty much resigned myself to the fact that Highmore wont play again this season.

Frawley and Geary coming back soon means that Highmore's chances of playing are very remote.

Will be looking to trade him out in the next few weeks. Need warm bodies for the bye rounds.

Sucks that there are 3 good rookies this week. You really see Byrnes as better than RCD?

I was set on RCD and Poulter, but you're one of the kent's around here worth listening too......
Very kind that you would regard what I say! As you mention it is a bugger that three good rookies are on the bubble together. I am not necessarily against or for any of them. In fact I brought in RCD in the other Fantasy games. RCD has 119 points in the two games and Byrnes 114. That last game RCD went missing
to a fair degree. Only 43 points.

Listening to one of the supercoach podcasts a day or two back one of the 'experts' mentioned that it had taken RCD quite a while to get a game. What was the reason for that? Richmond being very good and stable is of course one reason. But they have had a couple of opportunities and didn't bring him in. Why was that the expert asked? Perhaps they have had misgivings about his progression. So you wonder as these injured guys come back at the Tigers that he might go.

On the other hand Byrnes was touted internally before the season, and then sadly did a hammy. He came back and had two very good games in the VFL, and in he came. So, it maybe that Byrnes is regarded higher at the Saints than RCD at the Tiges. Obviously Richmond have a stronger list etc etc. But it was food for thought. Perhaps RCD is better known and was a higher draft pick so he springs to mind quicker. But discounting Byrnes I find interesting.

Not advocating anything. I am going Byrnes probably. Seems to have an engine. Gets around. Uses his pace. Gets into space thus all the marks he's taken. Not as much contested stuff. Difficult game for sure against the Cats. Anyway....that's my two bobs worth.

Remember that St Kilda is a very very ordinary and overrated side. They have the Cats and Dogs coming up in their 2 matches. I can see a couple of losses. Highmore will keep getting 20+ touches and 10+ marks in the VFL, he'll play at some stage.

But I do agree, if you have spare trade and a good option appears, sure, do it, but I can actually see Highmore playing a few games soon.

And then doesn't play again this season with a BE of -80
Yep I reckon Flynn plays this week and that’s his season done.

Mummy plays two and has a rest. In three weeks time when Flynn would be back in GWS have their Bye.

And Preuss ain’t far away.

I can’t bring myself to trade a player before they make money. Will probably carry him and Sharp as loops.

Once Preuss starts playing as well, do we assume Mummy will be the next in if he gets injured?

I agree with the sentiments.

However, those blokes on the podcast are no more experts than all of us here. In fact, given the depth of discussion, knowledge and proven results, I’d argue there are people on this board I’d rate more than the podcast people.

I think Mummy will be #1 with Preuss as a backup. Preuss isn’t great.

So, thinking Koshitsky and Warner becomes poulter and mills, leaves 4 on field rookies and 120k in the bank and 17 trades left, Think these trades are worth it? Backline will be complete, Powell and Jordan in the middle and Robertson and SPBergman in the fwds. Or I could do nothing?

Absolutely agree. That's why I put expert in parentheses. Always interesting when they say how they did last week or their ranking. You invariably find you are doing better. But occasionally they say something that makes me think.

You don't trade for a player in the prime age bracket to play a 34yr old who won't be on the list next year
Melb traded him in, to leave him in the reserves all year. Couldn’t get a game at Norf. Flynn is their stated future.

All guesswork I suppose, but I’ve got him pegged as a backup Ruck, as Mummy was meant to be, with Flynn #1 (as Cameron stated preseason). But then Mummy played so well when they gave Flynn a rest and they started winning, so he’s elevated himself above IMO.

Yep, I’d agree with this. I like the phantoms lair. Pretty sound analysis but often just regurgitating what is said here.

I'm thinking of passing on Byrnes but happy to get him in next week after one price rise if he does well and if there are no better downgrade options
