Feels like a massive trap game. Coming off a really good game we should of won, media universally backing us to win, other team completely out of form, prime time game. All the makings of a disappointment.
A thumping win would show genuine growth in the group imo. We never get to destroy teams.

With the quality we have missing I'll take any win. Get a few back next week and raise the expectations.
An "honorable loss" followed by a disgraceful follow up performance the next week seems to be ingrained in the Club's DNA
Hopefully we can see evidence of gene therapy leading to a new team DNA on show tonight

A very strong win will start to cement belief in a often burnt fan base, cmon boys time to come of age

Day is the most cooked AFL player l think l've ever seen. Absolutely ridiculous selection it was a perfect time to play that kid McLaughlin.
Really stupid.

Would rather Burgess personally but would have preferred mclaughlin.

Just cannot fathom in any way how this is the right choice.

Burgess way ahead of mclaughlin, would have gone with Burgess myself and sexton before Ace. Glad we have depth to fall back on, some clubs would love those guys as reserves players.

Sam Day is a closer player to Levi than either of those 2.

If King goes down fair enough play McLaughin.

If Lukosius or Chol goes down fair enough play Burgess

Levi isn't used as a traditional lead up tall forward, he's rarely targeted inside 50, he's used to bring the ball to ground. He uses his size to bash and crash packs which is exactly what Sam Day does.

I think that’s the idea of Sam Day but I’ve sure as hell never seen him do that in 150 games of AFL football.

Days whole career was built off his no longer available athleticism. He is a slow lead up marking player. Can't believe we brought him in

Any chance Faulkhead the sub?
Got to make calls on some of these guys.

A game we should win. A big oval suits his skill set.

Not the worst time to give him a crack

Rather Sexton personally. He is the ultimate sub.

Exactly he's nothing like Casbolt. I've never seen Day crash anything.
Sorry but he's been a massive bust for such a high draft pick.
