Re: Round 11 - In-game chat.

2300. Ranking to take a hit this week.

Hille 9, Playfair 23 (F'ing Buddy), Gia 45, Gibbs 62 (what was last weeks score? 192?)

Hated watching Gibbs playing deep on Green and Gia as a defensive forward on Shaw too.

Re: Round 11 - In-game chat.

want to puke all over the floor with my sunday players

total of 602 from mitchell, hall, giansiracusa, o'keefe, goodes, malceski, hodge and hille

yuck....total 2343 this week and am thoroughly disappointed with it

Re: Round 11 - In-game chat.

2388 for me.. Stanton out hurt, as did Higgins, Goodes, Mitchell! could have been good. Considered captain Goddard too, first week I have actually considered someone other than Ablett.. Oh well! Sucks to be me...

Re: Round 11 - In-game chat.

Ok, bit of a rant here... Sorry in advance.
Does anyone else get sick of coming in here (and elsewhere) and hearing people do the whole:

"oh poor me... I only got 2567... What such a shocking putrid insignificant score... Why does the world hate me... blah blah blah"

Surely you realise it makes you sound arrogant, ungrateful etc?? Ok so you didn’t get the highest score for the week yet again... You came closer than 300000 other people so be happy about it ffs!!

We have high expectations.

Re: Round 11 - In-game chat.

Yeah but 50 places from a ranking of 200 is a 25% improvement... My last 2 weeks have been 84 and 90 places.... when your doing that from a ranking of 3.5k its not going nearly fast enough.

Next week should hopefully shake a few teams up depending how the injuries and suspensions go.

Rookie Watch

Only one name on everyone’s lips, Gysberts, but will the boy play with 4 demons returning?

Jordan Gysberts [MID] ($129,200) – 2 games, average 89, status: Named on extended bench (25)

Op Shop

DEFENDERS
Sam Fisher ($478,100) – Average 93.89, Average over last 3 rounds 109, was as cheap as $432k 2 rounds ago, but stil not too late to jump on this premium rebound defender. Only worry is that he only scored 65 against Freo earlier in the year. B/E 64.
Jack Grimes ($448,900) – Average 94.45, underpriced, cheapest he’s been all year. In 9 of his 11 games, Grimes has registered a score of 84 or more; great value. B/E 104.
Jarrad Waite ($444,500) – Average 91. Since coming back from a brief spell on the sidelines, the Waite-ster has averaged 12 kicks, 8.5 marks 3 goals and 119 SuperCoach points per game. B/E 38.
Heath Shaw ($405,900) – Average 92.9. Like Grimes, this is the cheapest Shaw has been all year. Started the year well, averaging 108.5 over the first 7 rounds, but has hit a slump since then. Collingwood plays last 7 games at the MCG, where Shaw has averaged 93.4 points since the start of 2008. B/E 103

MIDFIELDERS
Marc Murphy ($527,500) – Average 109.36. Has registered scores of 87+ in 10 of his 11 games including 7 games over 104. Was priced at $503k two weeks ago, but I don’t feel it’s too late to jump on one of the most consistent and durable players in SuperCoach. Averaging 116 over the past three weeks. B/E 94.
Matthew Boyd ($516,800) – Average 109.67, unique pick (5.67% of teams have him). Scored over 105 in 7/9 games, averaging 16kicks, 13 handballs and 5 tackles a game this year. B/E 106.
Jimmy Bartel ($503,300) – Average 106.38, cheapest he’s been all year. Has put up scores of 110+ in six of his 11 games, including nine over 100 points. Averaging 14kicks, 13 handballs, 5marks & 5 tackles per game. B/E 124, scored exactly that against the Dons earlier this year. Now might be the time to jump on!
Kade Simpson ($491,800) – Averaging 105.18, very unique pick (selected in 1.51% of teams) and cheapest he’s been all year. Has put up scores of 90+ in eight of his 11 games this year. B/E 105.
Travis Boak ($471,200) – Average 97.73 and again, a very unique pick (2.63%). Averaging 109 points over the past 3 rounds, where he’s registered 25 tackles.

RUCKS
Shane Mumford ($414,700) – Average 85.44. Scores of 104 and 140 in the two weeks since coming back from suspension, including 42 and 46 hitouts. Don’t forget though, these have been against Hawthorn (no rucks) and Essendon (where Hille’s injury would’ve assisted M&sons scoring). A good ruckman, and might be worth a gamble, but I’d stay well away.

FORWARDS
Stevie J ($435,500) – Average 88.55 Cheapest he’s been all year, could be a great F7 come finals time. Last six weeks have produced scores of 81, 83, 57, 127, 86 & 148 for an average of 97. 31 goals for the year, B/E 103.
Brent Harvey ($408,900) – Average 90.7. Again, the cheapest he’s been all year, but massive, massive risk involved. Has a scoring range of 165 this year (HS: 176, LS: 11), so who knows what he’s capable of. Playing for the Kangas doesn’t help either. A “no” from me, but you never know...
Leroy Jetta ($351,000) – Average 93. Has snuck under the radar a bit, but has produced scores of 127, 100 & 95 in his last 3 games. With a break even of 20, this could be the last week to jump on before the Jetta train steams off.
Brown & O’Keefe. - Who knows?? Want to see them string a few 90+ games together for my confidence to be fully restored. Although most would probably have one or both.

Talking Points

1. Marquee celebration of the 25 years of Friday night footy;
2. Karmichael Hunt’s debut for GC17 at Cragieburn on Saturday;
3. Missing umpires votes from Melbourne vs West Coast Round 8 this year.

Re: Round 12: Preview, In-Game Discussion & Scores

Thanks Scotland for nothing. Waste of a trade.

Re: Round 12: Preview, In-Game Discussion & Scores

203/2

Judd 119 Kreuzer 84 provided a solid start. Quiet day today with just Goodwin & Hodge, hoping to be around 400-450.

Re: Round 12: Preview, In-Game Discussion & Scores

That's some fancy preview you did there, spud. Three hours well spent, if not for that darn lockout.

Very Nice.

As for me, I'm still 0/0

Talking Points

1. Marquee celebration of the 25 years of Friday night footy; - Enjoyed that. Tipped Kangas for that sole reason, and I couldn't be happier
2. Karmichael Hunt’s debut for GC17 at Cragieburn on Saturday; Good Luck to him, wonder how he'll go at FF, if they play him there like suggested. Will probably watch it on ABC today, since there is no FTA game going on today.
3. Missing umpires votes from Melbourne vs West Coast Round 8 this year. Idiots

Hehe, Webberly out. I bet a lot of people would have held off trading Goose with the belief that Webberly would play, and that a lot of people still don't know he's out. I know my friend had Maguire, Hargrave, Heath and Webberly all not playing. I know he traded out Goose for Gilbert, but he's still up s**t creek as far as defense goes. Adding onto that, he has like three trades left.

As an early prediction, I'm hoping for 2250+, but since I've had no-one play yet, it's way too early to call.

Still, I can dream...

Today, I've got Hodge and Rioli to play.

Tonight, I have Ablett, Selwood, Enright, Podsaidly, Malceski, Goodes and O'Keefe.

Oh yeah, BTW, I'm SO tempted to tip Essendon and Melbourne this week. I think I might, just to be different. I'm also thinking of tipping Brisbane over the Bulldogs, but I know I shouldn't...
