Been trailing my SC opponent since friday night, first it was 600 points, then 500... i clawed the deficit back to just over 150 points. Today's game will be a corker, i need D.Thomas to go missing (would help a great deal) and Shaw + O'Brien to play absolute blinders - so i can over take and win. Currently on a 3 match winning streak, i've either come from behind..... or only just held on to my lead in the last game.

1890 with Thomas, Swan, Gysberts and Watts. Both Gysberts and Watts are in as cover for Ball and Sylvia not playing.

Disappointed with Montagna and Ablett(C) but they can't break the ton all the time. My opponent has only 2 players left and he's only on 1768.

Funnily enough, Didaks lowest score for the year is 54 which was against..... Melbourne.

Hopefully he at least doubles that, for the sake of my team.

I won't even comment on Brown and Didak's late outs (2 donuts thanks).. Out is bad enough but late changes!!

When upgrading a forward a few weeks back, I overlooked him because I saw he rarely plays 22 games in a season.

Didak going out is an absolute blessing for my team. After my emergency selection stuffed up, I had Maguire as emergency, with Nason's 94 going to waste (as Webberly who was in my starting 22 didn't play).

While I'd still have won in 2 of my leagues, in the bigfooty one, the equation was:

Shaw + 69 points
V
Pendlebury + Didak


With Didak out of the picture, I like my chances.

Final score = 2276 including 2 donuts.

Which sucks, I actually have good cover. Injuries to Maguire, Davis, Brown & Didak hurt.


I still won 2 league matches. And would have been highly likely to win the third.

Gotta be kidding me, i chose Didak over Riewoldt at the last minute.
And what's worse i only selected Gumby as emergency who was cover for brownie, and i could have done Watts and Gumby ((((

Everyone that actually played for my team this week got 84 or more. Had some big scorers in there too. Could have gotten 2500+ this week if it wasn't for my shambles of a forward line (Higgins, Brown, Didak, Griffiths emg).

Can never have that perfect week where everyone does good/plays.

no players in the monday game, so i can relax...

2542 was the final score for me, very happy with it....other than silvagni and trengove, every other player scored 91 or more...
