Geebus.
Money no object, team largely done, and Heath Shaw has to prove what a massiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive idiot he is.
So of the top-scoring defenders out there:
Fisher - got him
Scotland - bye in finals
Goddard - got him
Deledio - got him
Shaw - moron who needs to be replaced
Gibbs - got him
Newman - got him
Enright - bye in finals
Suckling - got him
then Birchall & Broughton...
WTF do I do? Swing for the fence with Scotland? Get Enright and hope I don't have to play in week 2 (a possibility)? Are Birchall and Broughton worth getting excited about?
I currently have 12 trades left.
Thinking..
Duigan -> M.Watson
and either
I.Smith -> N.Fyfe/ROK
J.Darling ->N.Fyfe/ROK
Thoughts?
My team so far.. With Hawks on bench..
Deledio, Gibbs, Newman, Goddard, H.Shaw, Heppell, Lower
(Duigan/Hibberd/L.Thompson)
Ablett, Swan, Judd, Boyd, Montagna, A.Swallow
(Mzungu/Pittard/Bewick)
Cox, Z.Smith
(Lobbe/M.Bailey)
Pavlich, Goodes, J.Roo, N.Roo, Sylvia, Howe, Darling
(I.Smith/Franklin/I.Callinan)
Thanks in advance for any feedback!
Hey, team's in good shape, especially considering you've got 12 trades left!
After looking up some numbers I think I'd go with Smith > Fyfe as the upgrade. As with an earlier poster you're still looking at multiple upgrades so getting value for money is important. I've got ROK and been happy with him but his price is very high at the moment and Fyfe with a higher avg is 25k cheaper and no byes. The reason I say Smith instead of Darling is merely that he's probably reached his peak in terms of price. Also, when the hawks get back players he may sit out where as Darling seems to be in the Eagles best 22.
Also, Watson seems a popular inclusion this week but I'd be looking at Talia only because even with injuries the Blues have waited a long time to give Watson his 3rd game.
That's all just my opinion though, good luck with whatever you decide!
Have him, no trades. Heater, you're a w***er.
I'm Gawnskies for good now.
Shaw > Broughton.
Best of the available options for one trade.
I know this will haunt me, but his lack of a bye and decent recent form pushed him over the line. Hopefully he will get lots of midfield time.
