Re: Round 17 Trades
Got a few major dilemmas and badly need some help!!
I have been doing well this year in my leagues. Had a couple crap scores after heaps of injuries before a 2400 in last round of competition has me averaging little under 2200 overall and comfortably top 4 in all my leagues. Coming in to this round plan was simple. Wait til Friday night and then downgrade Harris (Suns - not selected and has not been for a while) to Jolly (Suns) or Ebert (WCE) and trade Judd (Carlton bye in SC finals) for Dal Santo.
Then Heath Shaw goes and royally ####en stuffs me. AS IF YOU AND YOUR ####WIT MATE LIEDAK DIDN'T DO ME BAD ENOUGH IN 08 YOU DOWNRIGHT ####EN DIMWIT!
Now just don't know what to do. I have 6 trades left and $240,000 spare cash. Really want to trade Judd for Dal Santo and Shaw for Joncock. Plus outside of Curnow (again bye in SC finals) none of my midfield bench players are not selected so really want to downgrade Harris to someone who is at least going to get a game incase I cop a late withdrawal from one of my onfield mids. Both Dal and Judd face stiff opposition this week but I have a feeling Dal might score higher and drive his already high price up where as Judd might dip.
Then there is the Shaw thing. Could wait but then again Joncock and the Crows LOVE nothing more lately than dominating the Bombers in Adelaide so his price also may head steadily upward as well as me missing out on the points as I bring in a relatively low scorer Stanley (Suns) from the bench.
And if I choose to move on Harris who to trade for. I just want someone cheapish who will get a game. Was going to get Jolly last week but he was initially dropped before coming back in to score 98. Then there is Ebert who has managed to stay in the WC side all year but has terrible scores and gets very little of the ball.
