Posted a while back that Pearce has turned down a big offer from Port, and impressions at the club was that he was off to GWS.

That was a bit over a month ago, and have yet to hear much since apart from another poster saying he was happy in Adelaide and thinks he will stay.

An interesting one none the less.

Agree with this, i remember a few years back there used to be videos posted of players getting asked random questions on the Port website. One common question was Who will be our next captain ? Every video i watch every player said Boak.

So if its just a bonus, then don't compromise the clubs integrity by doing something as...Freo as offering captaincy so he pretty pretty please won't leave us.

If he doesnt renew, I honestly think we play Nick Stevens like hard ball. Either give us, A, B and C or A, C, D and E. If Travis really wants to leave Port, Gold Coast, Melbourne, GWS and possibly Brisbane will have selections before us, But we will be selecting well before Geelong, Essendon, Hawthorn or Carlton.

And for these reasons I am confident Travis will be resigning with us.

Back on Boaky - I was sure he was going to stay, had a chat to Gray on Saturday night at the post match function and he wasnt quite as confident. He didnt say anything definitive but was there was an uncomfortable vibe I felt when discussing it.

I still think he will stay, but not 100% set on it

I'm 100% sure he just felt uncomfortable talking to a random about someone whom he lives and works withs, private matters.
