The midpoint of Season 19 has come and gone and it’s shaping up to be a cracking second half of the season.
The Roys are currently flying, sitting atop the ladder with 7 wins from 8 matches. They’ve been driven forward by a sterling group of midfielders, and solid whole team performances. The Roys are quietly confident with the #royvolution fires burning brightly, but are aware of the looming annual mid-season slump.

The Hawks on the other hand are 4 and 4 sitting mid-table, but still finals bound, at 6th. The Hawks are struggling for consistency, they know their best, led by a stable of league legends, is up there with the league leaders, they just can’t seem to find it week in week out. Their prized recruits are taking time to gel, but time is fast running out to establish some form before the finals are upon us.


Interesting tidbit
Fred is keeping his nose ahead of Okeydoke7 in the race up the all time goalkickers list (382 vs 376). Both having overtaken Lioness to sit in 4th and 5th respectively. Could this game be a shootout between two of the leagues great forwards?
