Absolutely, we had little Catboy out for his first Halloween and he's got more than enough chocolate to get him through the week. Him and his mates had the late afternoon of their lives.

Cheers Broken. It's just sad for all these kids that have no idea. Flip side we were lucky he was able to get in there for so long when we were actually in lockdown.

We got lucky a couple of months back when there was a close contact at daycare. They closed down for 4 or 5 days and got the whole centre deep cleaned and then you were only allowed back once you could show a negative test for your child. But our daughter was pretty confused why she couldn't see all her friends.

Apologies (and congrats I guess to some) but this will be a sporadic week for dear old me. After coursing through two-ish years of Covid being good and relatively unaffected, and both the wife and I double vaxxed immediately when available our poor little bloke is on 14 day isolation as a close contact with a positive case at childcare. Stupidly, we found out this afternoon that he was already six days in but luckily as he was showing cold symptoms he had a negative test on Saturday. Means my work days will be spent on actual work and home days on actual parenting.

Poor little bloke is gonna spend his third birthday as a leper though. It’s all I can do not to shun him.

Thanks mate. Feel more for him, he’s perfectly fine but he’s going to be stuck in the house for a week again and doesn’t understand why.
