The key to winning anything is efficiency. Look at Collingwood. Look at Geelong. Geelong are shit with half their list 800 years old. They keep winning because they make it count when they go forward.

Our dumb **** coach thinks we have to be basically a five goal better side every single game and win through sheer domination and weight of numbers. That is never going to happen. It's why dumb dumb thinks he needs AA players on every single line. We're so inefficient that we have to be CONSIDERABLY better all over the ground to squeak in by a goal or two.

New year, same problems. Maybe, just maybe, it’s the coach responsible for the game plan that is the issue, not the players

He’s not dumb, as such, he’s doing exactly what he (and Koch) wants: Execute a mathematical formula that garners a particular result in the minor round (maintains crowd numbers, gets extensions into perpetuity). All of this must look superb in the data warehouse simulations.

Of course, to pursue/achieve a result that the fans actually want requires a degree of volatility that K&K simply cannot tolerate, nor possess the cajones to attempt.

Any player with leading qualities do not tend to do well at Port Adelaide under Ken & Koch. They either have to pull the party line or get out. What remains is a bunch of yes men that can't think for themselves or have any intelligence to work out trends in the game.

We backed up that Hawthorn performance with another three consecutive losses including the Dawson Showdown debacle and a goalless half against Melbourne.

Apparently Ken was not present for that 0-5 start. He must have been on leave or something because he apparently resurrected us after this. Despite missing finals and finishing the season with another block of four consecutive losses between round 18-21 it was Kenny who had single-handedly dragged us back into finals contention to begin with. All hail Kenny.

Two final wins in nine years, a poor record for a decade against top teams and lost our last three finals by an average of eight goals. All down to bad luck and nothing to do with coaching, apparently.

And yet he's apparently worthy of a succession plan before he leaves the club - and who knows how long said plan is for???

One of the most important aspects of a team is that they have a team identity that everyone buys into.

And Kenny has stated that we have an identity which I agree with and it is good and the players play it but I am getting the vibe in their footballing hearts they would prefer to play a different brand of footy.
