You give a coach, players, board, etc, a crack. You give them a few years, you persist, you back them in, you see if they can deliver on GREAT, not good, and if they can't get there, you search for the next option. It's not hard to comprehend.

Being happy just because you don't finish below 10th every year, is an acceptance of mediocrity, it goes against the whole objective of playing footy. If we don't exist to keep trying to win premierships, then we exist purely to make up the numbers, and **** that, we should ALWAYS be striving for GREAT, and premierships. Anything less is unacceptable. Winning every year is not required, but trying is. Taking risks and failing is acceptable.
