Imagine thinking that the club has to lie to us, and tell us we have the group that can win the flag, so we'll be happy. Gerard is insinuating we refuse to hear and accept the truth and force the club to sell us a lie.

That's not how it works. We know the talent we have, we know the squad, we weren't sold a lie, we finished top 4 and brought in tactical trades that we sold our future for. More importantly we just want to see improvement. It is not unreasonable for a side with our young talent, to think that we should be able to challenge some of these top sides this year. Instead we've seen a 70+ point away turnaround against Collingwood 2 years in a row. Recieved 2 beltings at the hands of Carlton across 2 years. Been beaten by GWS again. Been beaten easily by Brisbane again, this time at home. It's just unacceptable from any measure of improvement, expectation, etc.
