I emailed Matthew Richardson last week with some of my concerns and received an email today very briefly noting my argument and thanking me for getting in contact.

Rugby League is just a fundamentally less interesting sport than footy but i'd be happy for us to copy a lot about how their league is run. Maybe NRL fans hate the NRL as much as we hate the AFL but I doubt it

There's a thread on the main board questioning Sydney's GF record and the first 2 pages don't even mention that they have to play Victorian teams in Victoria all the time. It's corrupt.

Chewy316 does still give me some hope, he has tried his best to give us as much info as he is allowed to, it's up to the people that want Ken out, can they get the majority vote, if that's how it works.

What I am saying as much as I enjoy and was enjoying thinking Ken is going I just don't want to get my hopes up, this club has stabbed us in the heart too many times now, or is that in the back?

We are just their cash cows, do they defend us when the media call us ungrateful, fickle, disrespectful, lowlife white noise keyboard warriors.
Does Ken or Richardson ever talk about what's good for the fans and the club, they don't give a shit about what we think or want as long as membership looks good and the happy clappers fill the stands.
I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'm still not admitting defeat. Let's see how the next week plays out.

I thought Ken is on leave still on the bench at the scg.
Here is a summary of Ken's knowledge of how we lost on Friday night:

Thank you for reading.

It wasn't even that, i've had some more comprehensive replies from him in the past, but this one was just a couple of lines. I'm assuming and hoping he's read a lot of this sort of stuff today, and if you haven't emailed him, do so!

Just keep it fairly factual and not abusive and email away.

I think the NRL managed expansion far better than the AFL has, and there is a lot less angst about favouritism for "Sydney teams". There are also now 4 teams in Queensland, and of course SOO is competitive every year.

Interestingly their GF is in Sydney and you rarely hear any disquiet about that. Melbourne still manage to be there about most years.

Anyway, back on topic. Please change the sign on the door of the senior coach's office.

Was speaking to an ex player yesterday who played only a few games under Choco.

But he summed it up pretty well, asked him about the last two finals campaigns and he just said "they're pretenders".

Then wen't on to talk about how close Ken came to being sacked a couple times this year, & basically how untenable the situation was.

But at this point I'm fully expecting us to roll on into next year with Ken, no succession plan formalised, no real changes, after the first couple successive losses the boos will start, media attention and heat will skyrocket and get bad enough they will then be forced to announce the succession, and the whole year will be a write off.

I would've sacked after the game where he cried if we were looking at this year in isolation, emotional susan moments after a minor round game are a massive cooked signal.
He did it after the Sydney game last year. He's a manipulator and performs these little acts right on cue. I don't believe for one second the tears were real.

First lot of "tears" was the Sydney game after starting the year poorly. Got smacked in the showdown the week after being thrashed by Collingwood.
Second lot of "tears" was produced after we scraped over the Saints by a point after being thrashed by Brisbane at home on the 20 year anniversary of the '04 GF where he was loudly booed off the ground.
The Ginnivan semantics were after we got thrashed in a home QF.
Orchestrated for maximum effect.
