Koch's comments on last night's news about winning premierships were as far removed from reality as it is possible to imagine, and I suspect he will be the most difficult to remove.
The whole 3 K regime has to go before the club can rise again, not just kern!

I can't get to this level of paranoia. Koch is stubborn but he's not a total idiot. The reasons for retaining Ken at this point appear to be entirely financial. He's not going to be recontracted.

It's not paranoia. Granted Koch is not a total idiot but he has shown often enough that his ego has led to him making a fool of himself.

If the reason for Koch retaining Hinkley are entirely financial then Koch is clearly not the financial guru he thinks he is.

I can't excuse them in any way shape or form. They gave him the premature contract they now can't terminate. Even without hindsight, it was a very bad move at the time when rumblings were already abound about support discontent.

Oh I agree 100%. They were dealt a shit sandwich, but that was only because they lovingly prepared that very same shit sandwich for themselves a couple of years ago.

My point being moreso I can understand the justification for Ken not being sacked this year. I don't like it, but I can understand it. But there is zero justification for voluntary renewing him.

I'll have some misguided hope and enthusiasm by the time next season gets underway but I fully expect early season promise cannoned into the sun after about round 10 & that even includes a sugar hit 6th to 8th finish.. infact that's worse because the campaigner will stay on.

Only the truly delusional would look at this list and see a contender next year.
