Genuinely unsure of how to respond...are you being serious or taking the mickey?
The mickey. I know Sammy's in my DT- Dream Time.:p

I've dreamt for so long that we would have a guy that could lower his eyes & kick a ball to advantage.

Hope he keeps it going because there is going to be serious heat for spots soon. I agree, a great decision maker.

As I said when it happened; it look him 4 rounds to make a mistake, may as well make it a big one.

Actually, that's yet another feather in his cap.

Think back to Simon Buckley, whenever he made a stuffup like that, his confidence would get shot and we'd lose him for the rest of the game.

Credit to Dwyer for putting it behind him (hopefully learning from it) and moving on.

He turned me.

In the NAB Cup I was like..."Meh", and jumped on Kyle Martin (who is still my boy. You all keep away, he's mine), but that Carlton game just forced me to love him.

Brilliant pick up, and he can never lose his spot.

EVAR. He's just too composed.

Yep, he's one of my favourites too. As a regular VFL watcher I've seen a fair amount of him before he came to us and he impressed me.

That and we're both part of the exclusive club of people named Sam :p haven't had one at this club since Sam Iles.

I was initially critical of our mature age recruiting strategy.. I thought we would've been better off going for youth with guys like Pongracic having been overlooked in the draft.

Having guys like Dwyer, Martin and especially Hudson on the list have increased our depth substantially

It's bewildering that he's never been drafted before. Hes slotted in and performed in big matches in front of big crowds with no hint of cracking or nerves.. just incredible. Imagine if he had got in to the system a few years ago

Don't forget (although he's not our boy) Brett Goodes has been outstanding.

He's got one of the best i50 deliveries I've seen in a while. I daresay Bucks would absolutely love him. He was the king of the smooth i50. Once Beams is back we'll at least have 3 in there with amazing delivery. Beams, Pendlebury and Dwyer. Clokey may kick a few more bags this year!
