The key phrase there is "SPS has been pretty disappointing." I don't think he has any substantial value at the trade table, and at best is steak knives.
The argument about Cerra's value is better suited to his thread, but in short given what he's shown to date and his development I'd be looking at either a early first round or two late first round picks for him.
At the moment Seton would be worth a third rounder at bestIt’ll be somewhere between the two. I think SPS’ value is still decent as a player with some very good performances behind him and who contributes at a reasonable level other weeks.
But his age is starting to factor against him, and there is still no clear position for him. He should be a first choice mid, but he’s only shown the capacity to be a top tier mid once or twice a year.
I think he will improve elsewhere though.
Can he play any where except midfield? It’ll be somewhere between the two. I think SPS’ value is still decent as a player with some very good performances behind him and who contributes at a reasonable level other weeks.

How ?Cerra and 2nd Round Pick for SPS and 1st Round Pick.
Win/Win

Do you rate him as a footballer? I haven't seen him play much recently.Feel sorry for SPS.
Carlton prefer a player who is perpetually injured, who will be such a superstar when they can finally make it onto the park. Petrevski-Seton has f’ed up by remaining fit and available for selection, ruining the illusion.
Hasn't been playing well this year, and strangely hasn't really settled into a position despite playing nearly every game since he was drafted. Not sure he'd be worth much at the trade tableDo you rate him as a footballer? I haven't seen him play much recently.
Where's his best position?Feel sorry for SPS.

Hard to say, is an adequate performer in a number of spots HFF, HBF and midfield without ever really rising to his potential.Where's his best position?
Played his best games in the midfield, and has had some real crackers, but isn't consistent enough to leave him there. Forward flank probably at the momentWhere's his best position?
VFLWhere's his best position?
I feel like the wing would suit him, pending improved tankWhere's his best position?
Not enough pace or gut running to play wing.I feel like the wing would suit him, pending improved tank
Yep good comparison. Tracking in a similar way to Tambling at the same age.Not enough pace or gut running to play wing.
Not enough size to play inside.
He looks like a tambling to me.
Hope he comes back to Claremont.
Any Freo fans able to provide some insight into the contract status of Meek, Duman and Tucker? All 3 would be valuable to Carlton and could be involved in a trade with SPS to Perth.
