Sando wants a Crows reserves team in the SANFL

I seriously hope the afc website plan to at least post extended reserves highlights!

Would there be an afl (or SANFL) rule that would stop them posting the full match replay??

The SANFL and channel 7 may have a broadcasting agreement to prevent a copyright infringement rule. Thats why taking video cameras into games is forbidden.

For us interstaters has anyone got any intel on whether we will be able to see highlights or full games of the reserves team? Perhaps on iView or thru Foxtel or the a Crows website? Here's hoping...
If not if we interstaters each chip in a dollar we might be able to hire an amatuer camera man

Thanks I'll do that tomorrow. Suspect that's right but thought I'd ask anyway. (Australia is the most dog-unfriendly country on the planet so that's what I expected)

I'll try get to the SANFL occasionally on Crows away weekends.
Never Been to stone Asian countries ;)

Dogs shouldn't be at the footy. They are annoying at the best of times but at the footy

When I chatted to Nigel Smart back at the end of August I asked whether the club were going to stream the reserves games he said very unconvincingly to me that they'd like to and will look into it but at that stage the reserves thing had just happened and he also said that it was heavily reliant on the SANFL as they control all footage and broadcast rights. So with the SANFL's TV rights just settled in the past month I think it appears unlikely at this stage that it has been raised by the Crows or come across the SANFL's radar.

Don't think we'll be seeing many crows reserves games on the telly. Hope I'm wrong but the sanfl clubs would not want to promote the afl sides above the sanfl teams. In the end it's not really their decision. Channell 7 may have other ideas.

Sando's legacy to our club. Our own SANFL side to fast track the development of our players

Also allowed Port to turn the Magpies into the Port Power Reserves, and a (semi) legitimate claim on that club's history.

To this day i still have mixed views

Rubbish. The club and the admin made it happen, a coach they didn't trust without training wheels next to him in the box wasn't making big policy decisions

Haven't read the OP have you.

Or you just arguing to be obtuse, cos that's what you do............
