Sando wants a Crows reserves team in the SANFL

Rubbish. The club and the admin made it happen, a coach they didn't trust without training wheels next to him in the box wasn't making big policy decisions

Neil Craig had 7 years at the club as senior coach and never made any inroads into getting a reserves team. Sando was very public about it from day one. He might not have been the brains behind it but he certainly pushed for it regardless.

I agree that Sando was a dud coach but this was one of the few things he actually got right.

no. this is not a coach decision, it's not even nearly in his remit. putting a second coach in the frame doesn't change that

you don't think the public utterances of both coaches might have just been a reflection of the internal position?

If it was really a reflection of the internal position, why did it take so bloody long? I think you give our former admin way too much credit.

Either way I don't really give a shit who came up with the idea. The important thing is that we finally got a reserves team. I can be thankful that Sando is one of the people who pushed for it while still recognising he wasn't a very good senior coach.
