Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

What do people think about a sideways rookie trade > Nason out for Silvagni?

Nason looks ok but not sure how much of a cash cow he'll be, can see him getting rested in the 2's in not too distant future.. I dont wanna miss out on cashing in Silvagni down the track..
Risky trading a rookie for a rookie, could turn out to be a big waste of a trade if Silvagni does not keep performing.

Good call bad call ala footy classified:

Haneberry? Bad Call I think. Unproven, one game Swans dominated.

Connors, Trengove, even McKenzie.

O'Keefe in is a good call (get him now). I'd get rid of Lockyer, just because Tippett will come good.

Then again, who cares what I think?

hahaha thats gold. :thumbsu:
If i get ROK in i need to downgrade ball by a couple of hundred grand though, not tonnes around to pick up.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

I think its a waste of a trade, Nason will play for tigers al season, with our new youth policy. He looks good. It would be a waste of a trade in my opinion. SNOS is not a proven point scorer, he has played in 2 winning teams, and has scored more cos of the weighted point scoring. What if they get smashed in a couple of games? nason has been in loosing teams and still managed a 70 odd.

Risky trading a rookie for a rookie, could turn out to be a big waste of a trade if Silvagni does not keep performing.

Thanks for the advice guys, might leave Nason in and just do the 1 trade which is Hille > Kruzer upgrade.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Then what will you do if Hannebury gets 56 next week ad ball 120?
I will be spewing. It is all about ifs and buts. Should never have put ball in my team in the first place. He cant kick and doesnt get a lot of possessions.

No worries mate. Also have a think about Seaby instead of Kruz. Both are in great form with Seaby being a fair bit cheaper.

I personally don't like the idea of getting rid of a 'premium' player in hurn for ladson or kennelly. If you were going to do it i would suggest malcevski.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

This is killing me... Soooo didnt want to trade this early but an seriously leaning towards...

Jolly -> Seaby
Tippet -> ROK

Really want to rid of Seaby and get another consistent premium. Think that Jolly will come good eventually but can see him become consistent... What was I thinking! :(

And will Seaby keep it up??? :/

They should avg. fairly similarly by the end of the year. Sydney games have more stoppages so Seaby has plenty of opportunities for stats, whereas Kreuzer is better around the ground.

Yes definately make the Jolly>Seaby trade, Jolly isn't going to get better any time soon. You should have had ROK in your side to begin with. Do both trades.
I really don't like getting rid of Tippett so early though, can you name me your forward line? Cheers.

You could trade seaby for cox later on because his price is going to plummet and will pick back up if he gets fitter and starts dominating again.
Tippet to ROK is a good trade, rok is a freak.

Think that looks like a fairly resnoble trade, like both trades if i was going to jump on a cheap ruck seaby looks like the one to get and roks been tearing up so he looks good to:thumbsu:

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

I Posted before but someone said it was hard to read so i made it a bit better... really need some help i dont know where to start, which trades should i do i am thinking getting barlow or ROK?

Defenders

Midfield

Rucks

Forwards

I have 2 players on the field who have not scored (Rohan, G and Sheppard, B) i also have Trengove and tippet... I know if i was able to replace these with decent players i could be getting a great score (got in the 2000's with 2 non scoring players and tippet) so what should i do??

I kinda stink at super coach and just wanna do alright in the work league...cheer fellas

I'd leave Hurn on the bench providing you have sufficient cover.

Anyone have ideas on what to do with Masten?? Keep and give him another chance?? or offload for someone cheaper? If I bring in Danger for Tips it would yield me 464k

Alright firstly you must get Barlow without doubt. Then other trades to consider:
- Tippet for Seaby.
- Shepard Davis for either Matt Magurie or Beau Waters.
Thats my opinion anyway goodluck with your trades mate.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

Can anyone talk me out of making these trades?

Ball > Cooney

Hall > Murphy

Pissed off that both Coondog and Bobby Murphy where in my side over the preseason and wasting two trades early, but the way i see it these two will only improve my side, both can be keepers and have higher scoring potential that the former two.

Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010

1.Barlow for who do ya reckon? Trengove?

2.Who is Sheppard Davis?

3. I think i am gunna tippett for seaby
