The main thing is watching seasonals from a legal source. In terms of length of being there (I have properly been at it for a year) and compared to me their is a lot of people that have more experience with anime. For example here

Alright... in regards to length: That's a year's worth?! Blimey! Then again, you're at that age. When you have fellow fans around you... yeah, that happens way too easily, lol.

And second... 20,000 episodes... hoo wee. Committment to the art alright. Fella knows the whole art like the back of his hand. If you can impress him, then you're a top tier anime.

But yeah, legally is key. Got to show support.

But if this is only been a year's worth of work... dare I ask how you got into it, and why after "so long"? Lol.

Ant Bear should we put my contract on the line to make this game interesting?
The only thing that would make this game interesting is if the entire Swamprats list left the Sweet FA win, lose or draw.

Just as long as you don't overdo it. True story - I once heard of a bloke in Sydney, who inexplicably accumulated no less than 102 credit cards, and racked up a total debt of $250,000. Assuming an interest rate of 20%, that''s monthly repayments of more than 4 grand - just to stop the principal going higher. I mean, the Gumbies will win a flag before he pays that off .
Let's not go too far. I very much doubt the Gumbies will be winning a flag this century.

In that case, we'll hang around - just to spite you :).

Your decline as a poster is sad, like watching an elderly parent slowly slipping into Alzheimers and gradually forgetting everything in their life sad.

Oh we will. Just a shame it means qe have to meet the week after. I was looking forward to the GF meet.

Bit rough that.

I do have to ask what other anime you've seen.

Wait, you looked it up on TV Tropes (now that's a black hole worth getting sucked into), only to avoid the graphic bits...

That's like watching Top Gear/Grand Tour and avoiding all the car stuff.

That takes me back alright. I remember those guys!

Only nerds and scaredy geeks multi-quote o_O

Using mental health as a banter topic again is sad but I suspect you meant no harm so I'll explain.

As someone who's had people in their family go through this, it's genuinely one of the worst things in the world. Had grandparents who'd been together for 40 years and watching then spend their last 10 years together with one of them fading away slowly was one of the most heartbreaking things I've had to witness. It was particularly hard for my grandfather, who was cognisant of his mental decline for the best part of 10 years and genuinely terrified at his situation. He slowly declined, started to not trust himself and in the end forgot who he was and who everyone around him was. If there's a disease that embodies cruelty more I'd be shocked, it's genuinely insidious. Imagine having everything that makes up who you are slowly stripped away from you as you watch and can do nothing.

Luckily, there's so much work going into the disease right here in Australia. Obviously lots of work across the world as well. If anybody would like to know more feel free to PM me as it's something close to my heart and I was lucky enough to meet some of the people looking into it during my studies.

For anyone wanting to donate to research efforts this is the best option. https://www.alz.org (Or for a more Australian focused charity with a patient focus you have a generic https://www.dementia.org.au/how-can-i-donate link from dementia.org. Naturally the disease has a fairly hefty financial burden and as such can be harder on those that aren't as well off)

Actually, Cloud_ is it possible to set up a Christmas match for this cause? Ant Bear has inspired me.

The decline of the Sweet FA is sad. The decline that you and the rest of the Swamprats were a big cause of.

And yet we're the ones who are allegedly having an adverse effect on the league. Go figure.

Nobody is belittling what is an incredibly tragic disease, and I applaud you for the idea of the Christmas match. If it's given the green light, I'll certainly be a part of it, and at the risk of speaking on behalf of my team mates, I'm sure many of them will as well.
