DenieD, yet another exponent of SFA players who play their best Qooty after announcing they are done with the league and promptly retired only to realise after 4 days that life is quite mundane without the magic of the SFA and the ability to kick goals every week from the comfort of your own home against mouthbreathing troglodytes.

Fighting Furies 19.12 (126) defeat Baghdad Bombers 14.16 (100)
The Furies recorded their first win fresh off the bye, downing the Bombers with 12 of the last 15 goals of the game. NaturalDisaster played a corker with 16 hit outs, 23 possessions and 3 goals. He was ably assisted by Frothies Mcveigh (20 touches, 5 tackles, 3 goals), Brick Loosener (23 touches) and Rioli8217 (5 goals). For the Bombers, two of the 'class of 34' were best with YeoGabbaGabba kicking 4.3 from 17 touches and gab213 moved away from full forward by the sim, having 17 touches and 6 tackles.
Mount Buller Demons 10.10 (70) defeated by West Coast Wonders 16.15 (111)
The Foundation Cup is always a big occasion and the match thread int he lead up to this match did not disappoint. At the end of Sunday though, it was the Wonders who were jubilant as the only remaining undefeated team. ClarkeM (17 disposals, 10 tackles), damicky (23 disposals, 12 hit outs, 2 goals) and NinjaSwan (19 disposals) were the stars. For the Dees, perennial EKA-candidate sausageroll and ichthyophile Yakker both had 26 disposals. Tarkyn_24 had 9 tackles and 5 frees for to likely stick in the umpires' minds come votes time.
Gumbies FFC 7.5 (47) defeated by Ophidian Old Boys 10.12 (72)
In dour, muddy conditions the Old Boys made it three wins on the trot by utterly dismantling the Gumbies. Fleabane was the star and it would take an Adelaide Oval goal umpire to stop her getting the three votes. Mrs Turbo (20 disposals), captain blood 17 (14 disposals, 3 tackles) and U2tigers (18 disposals) were also prominent. Astoundingly, no Gumbies player reached 50 dreamteam points. HotPiesWithSauce with 16 disposals and 3 tackles was the only performance of note for the vanquished.
Roys FFC 16.12 (108) defeat Las Vegas Bears 11.5 (71)
The Roys proved too good for the Bears to return to the winners circle. The 'rillas were led by an engine room hotter than the sun- tigs2010 (26 disposals, 7 tackles), Zevon (22 disposals, 7 tackles), DERRINALPHIL (20 disposals, 8 tackles, 15 hit outs), JackNah_8 (28 disposals) and 3KZ is Football (25 disposals). Mooch also kicked five to return to the top of the Fred Medal placings. Senor M was gallant in their team's defeat with 23 touches, 6 tackles and 2 goals. Cap, RonnieRaven and guero provided Senor some support.

Gold City Royals 20.14 (134) defeated by East Side Phoenix 22.11 (143)
How did the Royals lose this? From 45 points down, the Phoenix stormed home to recapture a spot in the eight. The Majestic and Rankine2Rachele were huge for the winners with 104 and 94 DT points each. Up forward Itsmyshow (7.2) and madman18 (5.0) may be in the vote getters. For the defeated, two sophomores dominated- gouki88 (20 disposals, 5 goals) and Membling (30 disposals, 7 tackles, 1 goal). Ulahoopski with 24 disposals and nahnah with 19 were also excellent.
Sin City Swamprats 6.7 (43) defeated by Dragons FFC 8.8 (56)
Another low-scoring, muddy match saw the Dragons win and thus consign the Swamprats to an all too (recently) familiar last spot on the ladder. Bradesmaen was the star combining 18 touches with 6 tackles and 3 goals. Ljp86 showed their abundant skill (16 disposals), along with Ge3ks (15 disposals) and Ligma (14 disposals). For the Swampies, GotTheGoodes and @The Jesus each had 17 disposals and vice-captain BloodySwan collected 7 tackles.

Dragons FFC 14.11 (95) defeat Mount Buller Demons 14.7 (91)
In an all too familiar recent tale, the Demons were well on track for a victory before being beset by a second half fade. Plenty of Dragons players could be in line for votes with big_icky and @prpl_jss getting 25 and 24 disposals respectively and Strigoi (17 disposals, 14 hit outs and a goal) very good. They were pipped though by the matchwinner Bradesmaen (85 dreamteam and the winning goal in the last 30 seconds) and Ljp86 who continues to dominate with 18 disposals and 10 tackles. The Demons were well served by sausageroll (23 disposals, 3 goals), Yakker (17 disposals) and Gralin (16 disposals).
East Side Phoenix 11.17 (83) defeat Fighting Furies 12.8 (80)
Another thrilla-dilla as the Phoenix held off the very fast-finishing Furies. akkaps (19 disposals) and MP_ (17 disposals, 9 tackles) were the standouts for East Side with veteran, Itsmyshow, having an almost afternoon in front of the big sticks with 3.5. The Furies meanwhile had an even spread of performers headed by NaturalDisaster (19 disposals, 4 tackles, 13 hit outs), ShaunDuggan (5.0), Feraligatr (22 disposals) and crazywildhorse (18 disposals).

Another muddy match, another huge loss to the Gumbies as the Bombers stormed to the top of the ladder. Led by an outstanding 5.3 from YeoGabbaGabba, the Bombers were also well served by sunny3193 (24 disposals), Pugsley (16 disposals, 5 tackles), Jabba73 (17 disposals, 1 goal) and iDon in their 550th game (16 disposals, 1 goal). GWS Goose, Falconista and BlueE were the statistical best for the Gumbies but it would be thievery if any pinched a vote.
Coney Island Warriors 28.8 (176) defeat Sin City Swamprats 17.6 (108)
Good conditions saw an exceptionally high scoring and accurate match at Coney Island with many players producing delightful figures. None more so than The Filth Wizard kicking 12.2 and amassing 129 DT. Also excellent for the Wazza's were TheInjuryFactory (21 disposals, 9 tackles), zackah (32 disposals, 1 goal), FootyGuy13 (29 disposals) and Ocha905 (26 disposals). For the Swamprats, Kennedy Parker starred as ruck with 22 disposals, 3 goals and 19 hit outs assisting the likes of GotTheGoodes, jackster83, ant555 and BloodySwan to have many touches of the pill.

The Baghdad Bombers 15 12 102 lost to East Side Phoenix 19 12 126.
In a close and entertaining game the Phoenix kicked away in Q4 to take the win. The opposing spearheads both had great games. Bomber tyro gab213 kicked 5, while Phoenix veteran Itsmyshow slotted 7 goals. For the winners, the co skips thewizardmelon 26 possessions and a whopping 16 tackles and experienced ruck por_please_ya 24 possessions and 18 hit outs dominated while Jhye Clark 13 with 31 disposals and 8 marks had a day out. For the Bombers, none were more impressive than Pugsley with 28 disposals and norway blue with 26 possies and 3 goals.

The Furies showed their potential with a decisive win over the Dragons. For the winners, Frothies Mcveigh with 28 possessions and 7 tackles, Bovo 26 possessions had standout games while Feraligatr with 23 possessions and 2 goals was a major contributor. In a dirty day for the Dragons only Strigoi had a good day in the ruck with 16 Hit outs and 23 disposals though her opponent was NaturalDisaster .
Gumbies FFC 13 10 88 defeated the West Coast Wonders 9 9 63
The Gumbies had a cracking win over a disappointing Wonders. Their enigmatic forward Chat Pile slotted 5 goals while CatToTheFuture 25 possessions and veteran Barrybran 24 disposals glittered in an even team effort. For the disconsolate Wonders only HARPSichord with 3 goals and 19 disposals stood up on the day.
Las Vegas Bears 17 7 109 defeated the Ophidian Old Boys 10 6 66
The defending Premiers’ unhappy start to the season continued with a 43 point flogging at the Paws of the Bears. For the winners none were more impressive than Millky95 with 20 disposals, 10 tackles and 2 goals, while guero 26 disposals and even knucklehead Senor M 20 possessions and 7 tackles also stood out. For the OOBs, only ruckage aficionado U2tigers with 22 disposals and 2 goals turned up. In a bitter day for the OOBs haydo had just the one, albeit sparkling, possession.

This was a terrific game throughout that could have gone either way. For the Warriors, quality efforts were turned in by skipper Tonga Bob 20 possessions and 8 tackles, forward TubbsFarquhar 4 goals, comp icon FootyGuy13 25 disposals and perennial Qump favourite Mofra who jagged 7 Frees some of which were even legit. For the Royals, hard shirtfronter Brenton Davy had 25 disposals, 8 marks and 3 frees against, mercurial forward grumbleguts snagged 5 majors and CakeEater had 22 possessions.
Sin City Swamprats 20 7 127 defeated Roys FFC 11 13 79
In a shock result Sin City gave the Roys a terrible beating. For the winners, Kennedy Parker was best on ground with 26 disposals, 2 goals and 15 hit outs. KP was well supported by ant555 29 possessions and BloodySwan 27 disposals and quality FF philreich 7 goals straight. okeydoke7 had a relatively great day with 1 goal. For the vanquished Roys, windyhill with 17 disposals and 3 snags had a day out.
