Is this actually correct or are you winding me up? If it is true then i have a few questions.
It is not true that 0/13 clubs selected that way, it was 0/12.

The Baghdad Bombers were excluded from all discussions and our nominations and votes were not counted.

There will be an * against this abomination of a selection “process” forever.

You’re still yapping lies? Oh dear.

Just between you and me, would it have been 0/13?

true, I'm not sure if the dragons ended up submitting a team either.

Hey ClarkeM congrats on pulling off your second awards night this week, and extra credit for doing so under duress. Nicely done.

My third awards night. Actually had to run a real life awards night on the weekend - the ****ing irony of all things. Very run down now and probably why I’m sick but anyway… one more to go, will push it to Monday as it seems to be a popular one by you folk.

I don’t. He’s an incredible player who had a good season.

How could anyone hate Pants? Until this week I’d forgotten he was still in the SFA. Does he still post.i seem to remember his long suits were ‘happy to meet’ and ‘mice nelt’ which would be apt for that Damikey guy.

Falconista – Gumbies leader and fast-becoming league legend, Falconista earns his first All-SFA accolade to his growing list of recognitions after an impressive Season 37 across the backline. That’s right, we have our first All-SFA virginity broken tonight and no better person to receive the honours than Falcon. His season saw the Gumbies make it all the way to the Finals – that’s right, the Gumbies, in the Finals. He almost gets in alone on that but we must acknowledge his own personal performance this season and the incredibly all-round performance, averaging 36.5 posts per game, 13.5 disposals, 4 marks and a cheeky 4 total goals to match – not bad for a dashing defender. Well done Falcon!

kenneyswarriors – There don’t come many more sturdy half-backs in the competition than Kenney and this season saw Kenney take his game to a whole new level. 16 disposals per game, even managed to snap himself a few hitouts in the process, 3 goals all the while laying a whopping 28 tackles, averaged 5 marks per game and with posting numbers of 85 per game, it’s hard to overlook Kenney this season for the All-SFA and again, it’s a first for Kenneys – congratulations on the inaugural All-SFA nomination mate.

tony – As luck would have it, two relatively noobs in the ranks of All-SFA need to be flanked by a fast-becoming consistent performer such as Tony. I say consistent, and then track record suggests that even though this is his fourth All-SFA honour, he’s still yet to be able to go back to back in any of them. This season, the big fella had 30 posts per game, 14.5 disposal, 4.5 marks and was able to sneak forward a couple of times when the team needed it. Well done on number 4 Tony!
An Awesome OOB...well done to you kenneyswarriors on making the ALL-SFA

Gralin - a 33-game veteran – if ever there were such a thing, Gralin goes back-to-back with All-Sweet FA selections. Gralin dominated the wing (and centre) for the Mount Buller Demons in Season 37, averaging 21 disposals, 6 marks, and close to a goal per game. Along with 82 posts per match thread, Gralin was a force on and off field. Congratulations, Gralin, on your second All-Sweet FA selection in as many seasons - at this rate, you'll overtake Filth in no time!

Robertio - a respected leader for the grand final-bound Ophidian Old Boys, Robertio salutes for All-Sweet FA selection number three in Season 37. The Season 31 Deestroy Medalist was huge in the guts for the Old Boys, with 18 touches and 5.5 marks per game to go along with a massive 115 posts per match thread. This All-Sweet FA jacket will look beautiful alongside Robertio's Season 35 and Season 36 selections - a triple treat for the Old Boys' midfield dynamo. Well done Robertio on also being nominated as the Season 37 All-SFA Captain.

AnUltimateRessie - rounding out the center line is AnUltimateRessie. Going by this season's performances, perhaps "AnUltimateWinger" would be more appropriate! AUR played all 16 home and away games on the wing, notching up averages of 23 disposals, 5.5 marks, and 2 tackles. Along with 11 goals, and a hugely engaged season (69 posts per match thread), AUR had a season to remember, now capped off with a deserved second All-Sweet FA selection.

Thanks for the write-up Headless
Woot woot... another Awesome OOB.
Well done Robertio :purpleheart:

The T20 team at the World Cup?

So thankfully not cricket. Has he got his Test average over 30? Has the worst average in the history of Test cricket of a Number 6 who has played more than 30 Tests

Nepo Man has been given more chances than old bloke at the pokies on pension day.

sausageroll - Unstoppable in front of goals in Season 37, sausageroll has been rewarded with a spot in the All-SFA forward line. If you looked at the top of the FRED medal leaderboard across the season you would have seen sausageroll close to the top as they kicked a huge 72 goal haul alongside a number of statistics to calculate an average of 60 dream team points a game. Sausageroll was not only statistically excellent but averaged 56 posts per week in the match thread to ensure their contribution was excellent and every turn this season.

Congratulations sausageroll for a massive 8th All-SFA selection in season 37. Equaling second place for all time selections.

Tarkyn_24 - Tarks was yet again a constant presence across the league after a move to the East Side Hawks with huge posting numbers of 74 per week to be one of the Hawks and the leagues best posters in season 37. On top of that a massive 66 goals found Tarkyn_24 selected for another All-SFA side and this time on the centre half forward. This will be added to an already full trophy case as he joins sausageroll in equaling second place for all time All-SFA selections with their 8th. Congratulations Tarks.

Mrs Turbo - After debuting in season 34 and being the winner of the EKA, Mrs Turbo has finally been recognised for her first All-SFA selection. Playing the season off the Half Forward Flank, Mrs Turbo was one of the best forwards in the competition as she went on to kick 20 goals and average 59 dream team points a match. Mrs Turbo's banter and engagement in match threads and across the league also continues to be a favourite around opposition clubhouses and an average of 49 posts per week is an understatement of how good Mrs Turbo has been since her debut.
Congratulations on your first ever All-SFA selection, Mrs Turbo.

Thanks for the write-up AnUltimateRessie
OMG That's three ...

* thanks for the kind words AnUltimateRessie and those who considered me for this. Very honoured indeed.

DenieD - if there's one thing the Wonders' full-forward loved doing this season, it was KICK MAJOR GOALS. DenieD slotted an incredible 70 majors this season, finishing third in the prestigious Fred Medal. One of the most identifiable figures in the league, DenieD also consistently contributed to match threads, averaging 30.5 posts per game. This marks a second consecutive All-Sweet FA selection for last season's Fred winner, this time in the forward pocket.

Brenton Davy - if there was one clear-cut selection this season, it was Brenton Davy. With a massive 77 goal haul for the season, Brenton Davy was a deserved winner of the Fred Medal for the league's leading goal-kicker. Leading the Royal's attack with aplomb after moving to the full-forward position this season, Brenton Davy was also a leader off the field, averaging 50 posts per games in match threads. Congratulations, Brenton Davy, for your first selection in the All-Sweet FA team.

myblueroan - a complete revelation for the Old Boys this season, the newly-minted EKA Medalist caps off a brilliant debut season with All-Sweet FA selection in the forward pocket. myblueroan was everywhere in match threads, averaging 61 posts. They were also a sharp-shooter in front of the big sticks, slotting through 27 goals and 16 behinds from the forward pocket and rover positions. 16 games, one EKA Medal, one All-Sweet FA selection, and one potential premiership - what a first season for the OOB's first-year sensation!

Thanks for the write-up Headless
Well done in your debut Season myblueroan
You are a sensation... triple layered carrot cake for you this week

Hey that’s cool doing an actual physical awards night, they’re a lot of fun. Rest up this weekend in anticipation for a big night on Monday, nothing much going on around these parts this weekend so I’m sure we’ll get by without you.

I don’t. He’s an incredible player who had a good season.
Oh OK my bad, I’m sure pantskyle will feel better knowing that. With that knowledge then please allow me to rephrase my question - if you decide to deviate from the tradition of using Committee’s consensus selections (shout out to those that had five selections but missed a spot) and give yourself a Captain’s Call, why would you not choose the player adjudged as the best in the league and go for somebody that featured in the selections of zero clubs? Why not go one step further and select someone who wasn’t nominated? Hell, why not select yourself? That actually makes more sense.

Anyhoo, rest up mate.
