Phew! I'm still nursing a sore back getting that massive brown paper bag delivered to get this over the line. Glad it worked none-the-less.Best Opposition Captain
The Season 37 Best Opposition Captain goes to the biggest name in the Sweet FA, even after he shortened it down to his nickname. Put your hands together and congratulate from the Roys, it's Mobbs!
I wrote that one.
****ing robbed. Should have been top 3
After 158 games across three clubs, our dear friend PhenomenalV1 features in the top 20 of the Players' Association MVP - beez Trophy for the second time.
PhenomenalV1 had a consistent match thread posting season in Season 37, averaging ~25 posts per game, and making between nine and 40 posts in every match thread. Phenom is quick with a joke and respects league lore, making any match thread more enjoyable.
Outside match threads, PhenomenalV1 created the Round 8 match threads in, well, a way that only Phenom could. See what I mean here.
But perhaps PhenomenalV1's most consistent contribution to the board is the SFAEW, which has provided light entertainment for many.
Congratulations, PhenomenalV1, on an excellent season at the Dragons FFC.

tony might not rack up match thread numbers like others in the league but his quality shines through and is why he is yet again another deserving member of the top 20 beez nominations.View attachment 2001986

Well deserved buddy. I'm glad you finally got that monkey off your back.

Sorry mate.I've got to say, with the exception of one placing - this has been a superb list so far.
Top 5 imo but still the of all-time beez votes.
Some things just go together. Doors and handles, beers and buffoonery, and in the case of the Sweet FA, TheInjuryFactory and beez votes. TIF self-described himself as having a quieter season. Despite this, season 37 sees this Ross Lyon lookalike salute with yet another high finish in this season's beez.
TIF started the season strongly on the media landscape launching the ever-popular Spudqoach and the ever-controversial Power Rankings. From there, TIF put down the media keyboard and focused on match threads for his beloved Warriors where he posted no fewer than 318 times. That's not to say the contributions to the league-at-large stopped, oh gosh no. TIF continues their Committee (or is that Cabal..?) work, graphics mastery, advocacy for heritage fixtures and recently a lot of energy and organising in the State of Origin space.
Does TIF have swag? You bet (but it so deserved)! Here's to you on your 7th placing.
