Chapman Valley's finest export just gets better and better. Fresh off a move from the Demons back to East Side in the off season, Tarkyn_24 has put in one hell of a season.

As alluded to earlier, Tarks was the biggest move of the off season transferring to the refreshed East Side Hawks. And, goodness me did Tarks live up to the billing dominating match threads and finishing as the tenth most prolific (match thread) poster of season 37. Prolific does not equal spammer though with Tarks' posting enhancing match threads and he had the sort of season captain's crave. Witty, charming, engaging and not at all (publicly) like sausageroll describes, Tarks is deserving of a top-twenty placing in this beez count.

It’s no secret that we at Coney Island live by the mantra of only caring about the things that we can control, and our interactions with the rest of you both in match threads and across the wider Sweet is a prime example of that so it’s encouraging to see that the majority of you resonate with what we put out there. I like to think we have friends in many ports and rivals in many others, and that our banter is adaptable to whatever rubs your Buddha. But the best thing for me is that the Wazzas primarily serve to amuse ourselves, so really the fact that you lot are also amused is an added bonus.

Coming in 14th position is a newbie to the beez top twenty- MWPP.

MWPP has been a growing force on beez nights with this being the fourth consecutive season of an improved placing in the count. It's reward for consistent contributions as a match thread poster in a strong Las Vegas Bears posting unit, conversing with both teammate and opposition alike with ease. MWPP also continued as one of the league's match commentary posters, giving up Sunday afternoons to be one of those who posts the sim outputs (and not milking it to the same degree as one of her colleagues cough phil cough).

MWPP's work in the media and thread space reached new heights in season 37. As she does most seasons, MWPP posted a set of well-written match thread OP's which, this season, provided a nice commencement to round seven. She also published an excellent hundred game milestone thread for the Bears leader, tony. Though it was MWPP's foray into media that trumped it all- a quality thread that measured a player's Q Score. It was the ultimate media and followed through and delivered on its brief come seasons end.

Welcome to the top twenty of the beez, MWPP. We watch eagerly to see if the rise continues in season 38..​

Now I had to chuckle when I was asked to write this, given the love and admiration between this man and myself over the years. But while his early days manufactured hostile persona & woefully inaccurate predictions of my demise in his rookie year (S29 it was… anyone know who won that beez that year by any chance?) still warm my cockles, a mutual respect has grown from our shared love of rules & regs, spreadsheets, Headless & surprised Simpsons faces.

There’s a lot of thrilla’s DNA in one of his clubmen certain to feature as one of this seasons’ frontrunners, big_icky (I’ll let you just linger on that thought for a second and hopefully you graphically picture that in your mind), which is a credit to the media formula that serial has curated & forged to great almost success over several seasons of contending for this esteemed honour.

While less prolific than previous seasons, thrilla has enjoyed another impressive season in S37 & still produces quality, polished & thought-provoking media when the moment calls for it. But as we all know, he does most of his best work in the Rules & Tribunal thread and this season was another outstanding effort by him in there, having dominated the top contributors stats in that thread for several seasons now.
