Sweet FA Road (Sewer) Trips - VCP to BJO via the Sewerage Network



They say there's no new ways between these grounds under the sun. But under the ground ...

This video is part of a Minecraft replication of locations in the world of Sweet, the manufactured geographical home of the Sweet Football Association.

The Sweet FA is the Australian Football community's foremost (only) simulated fantasy Aussie Rules league, which commenced in 2001, and is just now kicking off into its 37th season.

• Are the sewers inspired by Doom or Castle Wolfenstein? (I was frantically typing IDDQD & IDCHOPPERS just in case)
• Who were the people at VCP?
• Are there monsters in the sewers?
• Has Dinsdale's dungeon brewery been built yet? Does it also connect to the sewers?

They are known in the game as red mushrooms (seen earlier) and brown mushrooms (seen later). They game hasn't given them any kind of botanical name.
I know where to go based on a) memory as I built it and b) doing a test run before turning the recording software on and repeating the trip.
All sewer services are maintained by the Sweet Centre for Posting Quality which has its headquarters on Viemari Rd, not far from pantskyle 's "Pantsbar" nightclub.
I loved both Doom and RTCW but the inspiration actually came from Swamprat tropes and the building of the Underground Stadium which is submerged in the ocean, making it a hard project to resist.
The people at the VCP were local Docklands townsfolk. Some might be Taco & Tequila Bar staff on a break.
Nobody has ever come back to confirm any ruours of monsters in the sewers. The sewers are either lit sufficiently, or constructed with half-slabs, to prevent spawning of in-game monsters.
Dinsdale has a brewery built a little down from the far end of the VCP, across a street from @the Injury Factory . Neither are connected to the sewer system at this time. The sell their waste and effluent back and forth between each other and plough it back into the source materials.
Headache was still here for half of today but seems gone now.
