Did you forget to burp the keg Dinsdale ?

Rookie error mate
Nope, burped it, had it at 3psi using carbonation stone, upped it to 5 after an hour, 10 mins later had beer froth everywhere.

1st time in 20 years of kegging 😞

Yeah ouch. But one in 20 are good stats. But hang a minute mister. What beer were you brewing? If it was a Coopers Pale Ale, I’d be arguing you didn’t spill enough of it!

Damn. Was gassing up a keg, must have had something not tight as lost a litre or so of beer all over the floor.

This is a disaster! I hope you gave yourself a stiff uppercut.

Forward thinking.

Just setting up for later when you fall over and can't get back up to reach another glass, the beer is right where you need it.

That’s a pretty good strike rate.

Would it help to have volunteers at the ready to assist?

An IPA for grand final day...but I might be in Melbourne for that so...

Hey there Wazzas, and welcome to the eighth Know Your Opponents segment for the season. Our opponents are the Baghdad Bombers, who just won their first game of the season after five previous losses and a draw. So this week we're going to look at the Quinness World Records for most consecutive losses.

The immediate analogy to the Bombers is the San Marino national football team, who last week defeated Liechtenstein 1-0 in a UEFA Nations League match, and in doing so they not only recorded their first win since April 2004 (also against Liechtenstein) but it was their first competitive win in their history. And prior to this match, their winless streak was 140 games. And boy wasn't that a weight off their shoulders!!

But like the Bombers' six games to kick off season 38, that's a winless streak and not a losing streak. If you want losing streaks then San Marino lost 61 games in a low from 2004-2014. There's a version of American football called Sprint Football, where the Princeton Tigers lost 106 games in a row before being shut down, the STLCOP Eutectics NAIA Div I mens basketball team also lost 106 games in a row, and the Caltech Beavers NCAA Div III mens basketball team lost 207 straight games between 1996-2007). They're not quite the Washington Generals (1 win in ~17000 games against the Harlem Globetrotters) but dayum! Oh and there's the China Dragons in the Asia League Ice Hockey who lost 192 games on the trot.

Individually JD McDuffie lost 653 consecutive NASCAR Cup races (poor bloke died during the 653rd) while Vince Spadea lost 21 consecutive ATP tennis matches between October 1999 and June 2000.

Closer to home University lost 51 VFL foopy games before folding in 1914, Glenelg lost 56 SANFL games while in the WAFL the record losing streak is 27 which West Perth did between 1938-1938 (sorry Freofalcon) & Peel Thunder did twice when they first started. While in cricket Bangladesh have a full house by holding the records for Tests (21 matches), ODIs (23), T20I's (12) & combined internationals (28). And BBL team Sydney Thunder hold the joint record for T20 domestic losses with 19 in a row.

Enjoy the week fellas!

So San Marino's win in 2004 was uncompetitive?
