Those exterior rear vision mirrors are so ugly they are cool.

What used to get on my goat was the bastards that would continually prize off my 240z emblems. I eventually didn't put them on but had them in the glove box. Made up some plastic crap to fill the gap and only put them on for special occasions.

Crucifixion would be too good for them

Hahaha! I remember back in the day (I never did it bc my dad would have killed me) but as a teen, the lads thought it was funny to go around and bend any Volvo drivers hood decal that was around!

I have always loved the early Datson Z cars the 240 and the 260.

During lock downs I said to Mrs DP I was so depressed I would either divorce her and marry a blond teenager or buy my second ever 240Z.

The cost didn't worry her but the no air conditioning and manual gear box was a bridge to far.

"You get pissed one night and I have to drive you home and you know I hate manuals".

"You are going to drive it to work in peak hour traffic on a 40 degree day"

I bought the Nismo version of the then current release and wash it at least once a week. Polish is a big cost in the DERRINALPHIL household and there is now three paint chips (less than 2mm) on my Markus Two that no one but me would have noticed.

The number plate is PH 370 but my mates reckon w***er1 would have been more appropriate

When I lived in Darwin, one of the guys had a 260Z - also with no aircon. Twice a week he had to spend the morning in an aircraft hanger with no aircon and then drive to the office. When he arrived, he looked like he had swam there.

Same here. Those things are apparently made of solid gold, judging from the cost here in the States.

The only "good" thing on that front is that the boomers are now facing mortality, and auctioning off all their car stuff hoarded over decades. Tri-5 Chevies have come way down in price last 3 years or so.
