Amazing effort and performance the last two weeks. Was at the game and there were even signs towards the end of the 1st qtr and particularly in the second (where I thought we edged it) that there could be something brewing. They didn't blow us away and we appeared to gradually get better at the contest and composure wise as the game went on.

Just saw the replay of when Andrews thought they missed an out of bounds on the full and it looked like it bounced about a metre over the boundary line
Yeah I had a good angle on that at the ground, clearly out on the full.

Anyone else remember Charlie spoiling Gawn in the defensive 50 in the first quarter?

At that point I thought we might be up for a fight given the sheer effort required, but it slipped from the memory after our efforts across the first half.

Just got to the end of the third on the replay - watching on mute, my heart was in my mouth at the McStay tackle and Hipwood goal. The TV clock went to zero probably four seconds before Hipwood kicked it rather than stopping and going back to a very kickable set shot for McStay. Visions of Daniher playing on all over again.

Probably a fair outcome. Didn't look good
If we head to the tribunal we'll be told that Berry should have checked how hard Oliver's face was first.

Lawyers just need to walk in there and show the Jeremy Cameron Marlion Pickett vision, and cash that cheque

No way that was intentional. Should be a fine only,if anything.
And no fine for Oliver jamming his forearm into Berry’s throat while lying on the ground? I thought that was rough conduct. Christian is a total joke, bases his decisions on what his mates in the Melbourne media say. Should have been sacked years ago,has absolutely zero credibility.

Absolute BS, and another farcical decision against us. Oliver wrestled him to the ground and had his arm across his throat. There was no intent to eye gauge Berry was just trying to defend himself and get the grub off. If you look at it in real time, not super slow mo, it's barely a glancing touch. So sick of our players getting rubbed out when you see stuff like Harmes walking free

Take the week and move on. If we challenge, the message we send is we need him in the 22 - accept it, move on, bring in like for like and we look mentally strong and resolute.

Berry ain't Vossy/Black/Lappin/Aker of the threepeat. Not yet anyway.

Berry is important, but not critical. We have the team to beat Geelong without him.
