You gotta look at it in relative terms. We were $1.05 for the PF 2012, and look how that almost turned out.

We are actually. Brisbane had salary cap concessions, Collingwood and Melbourne both had open cheque book policies in those days. We are up against an 18 team competition where the talent pool is diminished and a salary cap that means marquee players are spread far and wide. Not to mention a compromised draft and trade arrangement, flawed draw and a governing body with a clear agenda and it all stacks up as the greatest challenge in the history of the game. If we win it - and I'm not ruling that out - it will be the greatest club performance of all time. Without a doubt!!!
