Ballard post-knee renaissance game

Ballard has been very good. I still think she's our best tackler, and she actually puts the ball to our forward's advantage. Been working up and down the ground as well. Why she hasn't been playing before now is utterly beyond me.

On ruck battle watch, we have Jess Allan with 13 hitouts and 8 touches to Strom's 15 hitouts and 7 touches. It's a fantastic contest between those two.

Randall excellent, she is playing like she's 23 years old, not 33. Newman great early on, Munyard lively, Marinoff worked her way into the game. Kelly doing pretty well too. Biddell kicking very nicely, but shame about that HTB near half time that probably should have cost us.

Charlton almost invisible so far. Just 1 touch, which was that missed shot on goal. She's better than that. Mueller not doing great, either. Waiting for Ponter to show up, too.

I think that was probably Tonon's best half of football, too.
