No surprise to see HELLO YOUMZAIN hammered in the betting in what looks an awful Sprint Cup at Haydock tonight. Was a big as 7/1 and is now generally 4/1. Has the Advertise form that has proven more than good enough against older horses so far this season and the older brigade look very ordinary.

Nearly shit the bed there but holds on.

In retrospect Libertinis win may be better than it looked, given the way track was dynamite leaders

it's put 1L on the 4th horse from the turn and the 3rd horse pulled ground off it.

yes, if it's 100% dynamite leaders a wins a win at the top level. but you don't just close your eyes and say, yeah it's done well to win on a bias track. bias means varying length of advantage, deciding what the advantage was is half the battle on these tracks.

Yes but the thing that came through for third had the slipstream rails spot. Anything 3 out down middle yesterday was up against it. I'm no Libertini fapper - its price was absurd - but i still think it was probably a better run than it looked.

Whats the view on Avilius' run? Track totally against or is it struggling?

Avi ticking over fine for 2000/2400 I think - only question for me is if it needs a bit of give in the track these days.

Hasn't been suited in either race back so far. I'd even have it on top if it went to an Underwood for example.

These even money Godolphin pops are costing me a fortune this season. When I declare another one next week, someone stop me please :straining:.

It's so hard to accurately assess how disadvantaged Avilius was. Forced for an opinion? I think he was a touch disappointing. His last 100m was very weak.

Did he spend all his petrol making a wide surging run on a diabolical day to do that? For sure, entirely possible. BUT - they were far from A-grade cattle around him. It really wasn't a vintage field.

It's potentially a moot point, because he's probably going well enough to win when he gets up to 2000m and the races really start to thin out.

God Moreira is a ******* campaigner

Prescient call about the most overrated jock in the history of the sport

You won’t see a worse hatchet job anywhere in the world than his performance in race 3 there
