We lost to the better team. No shame in that. Will be very valuable experience for a lot of our young core. Develop that forwardline more, build some bigger bodies, gain some composure and perspective for what is required for the ultimate success on the Ultimate stage and we'll be back up there again.

Relaxing? I almost had a stroke when Hoskin Elliott made it 13 misses out of 14 for the team

I suppose compared to other games we’ve played it was relaxing though

A prelim, a bunch of great kids with improvement in them, and no apparent fear. Wonderful result.

I love how Johnson gathered himself after a jittery first half, and knuckled down to his hard working game again after a bad start.

It's just a staggering transformation in 12 months.
Not just in our wins and losses, but the way we play is so enjoyable now. Our visible hunger, desire and enjoyment in playing the game is through the roof compared to the previous few years.
