This has 2018 written all over it. Remember I said last week I had a dream I handed the Prez the cup. Had a dream we were playing a close one against the Swans this morning, before the missus woke me up. Didn’t see the end, but we were peppering the goals. Dreams are funny, because it was like I became consciously aware of the situation once I saw what was on the telly. It was something like 111-112, so seems plausible, given the tendency for the Pies to engage their supporters in cardiac arrests. Well done though pies. You’ve gone from 17th, to take your double chance, get a warm up against the cats, and hopefully show up the Swans to storm into a fairytale grand final for Fly. Floreat Pica

It's just a staggering transformation in 12 months.
Not just in our wins and losses, but the way we play is so enjoyable now. Our visible hunger, desire and enjoyment in playing the game is through the roof compared to the previous few years.

I don’t buy this narrative at all. Aside from Nick Daicos it’s almost the same list…same game plan executed with out fear though is the difference.

I put it down to minimal (in Collingwood terms) external distractions and the negativity that has followed for the last decade.

This is 100% not by luck and should be expected.
