Swans will have their work cut out for them against the pronto Pies.
Pies are not easy beats. Their quick ball movement is next level slick.
They do not hold the ball and think... just instinctive play on.
Moving the ball forward by HB, tap on, toe poke and kicking off 3 steps.
Keeping ball in perpetual motion makes them very hard to tackle and stop.
I though they played a blinder against the Cats, one they could not repeat.
Judging on tonight's clean ball handling performance they surpassed it easily.
Especially how stayed balanced. broke tackles and hit targets when being slung
Their ability to maintain forward momentum was reminiscent of 2001-3 lions.
Freo are not a slow team but were made to look pedestrian in comparison.
Pies have set a new benchmark... one the Cats will need to emulate to win.
Congratulations on the win tonight... expect to see you in the Grand Final.

I, too, want to say thank you for the respect shown to David Mundy by your club and supporters. It’s very much appreciated by the Freo faithful.

You were too good for us tonight, everywhere, and the 20 point margin flatters us.

Good luck for the rest of the finals. I wouldn’t be surprised if you go all the way.

Hoping we meet Brisbane in the GF myself.

Mundy should play on -- at GC for a year -- he's too good still.

McCraes gameplan is nothing like Buckleys gameplan.

You saw Buckleys gameplan tonight. Freo under Longmuire with high possession and marks with no scoring.

Which is who brought about the change in our gameplan in 2018 - Longmuire.

McCraes Richmond esque gameplan tore Freo apart.

Its phenomenal what McCrae has done.

For Peter Daicos to be quoted saying the club is so much better now under McCrae says it all about the Buckley gameplan and era as a whole.

Give it a rest. There is no way this team would be in a Prelim without Buckley. The vast majority of them developed under his watch.

McRae has clearly assisted with that hectic go forward game style, but it wouldn't work this well if we didn't have a very sound defensive team that can provide great pressure.

I like the way big Mase sticks the chest out and struts when he gets on a roll.
It was a good game from him tonight.

Roy Jones Jr talked about essentially copying the way Roosters intimidate opponents during a fight.

Think Cox has been watching the ***** too.

Special callout to young Pendlebury. He was good all day but in the first 20 minutes he was sensational. He set up our three goal lead which we more or less held on to all night.
He is ageing ridiculously well. Has played two blinders in our two finals thus far. Pendles for 400 games (and two more flags) is on!

Should always be the standard. Regardless of the team, we are all footy fans and that man is one of the greats. An absolute legend.

And had the flu...very underrated year. There is no better defender in the game. Tom Stewart and May are equals, but nobody is better.
Watching Fly's postgame presser and revealing that it was close to a matchday decision on whether Darcy would play is quite unbelievable. What a ripper.

Thank god he got up!! Time for a well earnt sleep

Listening to him interviewed, was clearly under the weather, though wouldn't have known it from his game. His defence is very good, but his counter attack ability is awesome.
Maybe not up there with the Jordan flu game, but great effort nonetheless :D.

How good was that!! I was still nervous in the last quarter but looking back on it, it was a solid four quarter performance and we had control the whole game.

An amazing win - so proud of the club to get to a Prelim this year. That was all I wanted once we made top four and we did it! Anything else now is just a bonus.
